When Mulder and Scully arrived at the dog track Mulder parked their 
rental car as close as he could to the entrance because the temperture
was starting to drop since the cold front had moved in.As they were 
walking toward the entrance Scully said we need to check out the 
weather report while we are here because if it is supposed to snow we 
should have some snow tires or chains placed on the tires already on 
it so we can drive through it.Mulder said yeah we definitely dont 
want to get stranded out in this weird town there is no telling who 
else we might bump into around here.Scully said yeah and Mulder did 
you notice that the postman we met at Stein's house was wearing a 
double gunbelt.Mulder said yes i did and if i am not mistaken there 
were two browning hi power 40's in the holsters.Scully said if the 
postal employees go around delivering mail armed this is one town i 
damn well dont want to live in.Mulder said I'm with you on that and 
then he said do you think we should contact his superiors and see if 
they know he is going around armed while delivering the mail.Scully 
said we definitely should but lets wait until we find out more about 
this town and whats going on here because it might be neccessary for 
him and other mail delivers to go armed.

Mulder and Scully walked around for several minutes inside the dog 
track looking for anyone who looked to be working at the dog track 
but wasnt completely overloaded like the guys who were taking the 
bets.Two minutes later Scully saw someone come out from a closet and 
he looked to be a janitor.Scully tapped Mulder on the shoulder and 
said follow me.Mulder followed Scully and a minute later they caught 
up with the guy.Scully said excuse me sir but do you work here.The 
janitor said of course i do i dont come here for fun or waste my 
money by betting on which dog will run around the the track faster 
than the others.Mulder said sir we are looking for David Stein or you 
might be going by Harry Stein.The janitor looked at them and he said 
why are you looking for Harry.Scully said we want to ask him a couple 
questions about some cases he worked on several years ago when he was 
on the police force.The janitor said he is most likely upstairs in 
his office right now but i am afraid you cant go up there its 
restricted only employees of the dog track are allowed up there.
Mulder said we are also allowed to go up there and then he pulled out 
his FBI id and showed it to the janitor.The janitor said your both 
feds and Scully said yes we are.The janitor said follow me i will 
lead you up to his office but no further just in case he's in one of 
his bad moods.

Amy and Tara were at the magic box restocking things which the front 
part of the store was low on but that they had had extra in the back 
room.Amy said I'm glad that Giles decided to close the magic box on 
Sunday because we really need the day off while still spending a 
little time here each sunday to restock.Tara said I'm making a list 
of items we are running short of and I'll leave it on the counter so 
he can order some of the items.

Amy said speaking of Giles do you think that he will like the 
Christmas present we all chipped in and bought for him.Tara said yes 
he will how could he not love it.Amy said good because after all each 
of us chipped in for it it had better be worth it.Amy said by the way 
we have to go by Walmart on the way home and get two video cameras 
and plenty of video tapes so we can record Jennaine's first 
christmas.
