OT: possible fic idea

Starknight here. I was watching FX the other day and caught the BTVS 
episode "Bad Girls", when all of a sudden, this idea popped
into 
my head. I thought I'd toss it out and see if anyone wanted to run 
with it.

What if Faith HADN'T killed the deputy mayor? Buffy wouldn't
have been shocked out of her behavior and FAith would have kept 
turning her down the Dark Side, drawing her farther away from Willow 
and the gang. In addition, Faith never becomes the Mayor's
right-hand woman and they have to decide how to deal with him. 
Meanwhile, Faith is telling her "B" to live life to the
fullest and make up her own rules.

How far could this go? Maybe with Buffy being expelled from school 
again, after dumping Snyder in a trashcan. Leaving home, to get a 
room next to Faith. The Council approving of Buffy dropping her 
attempts at a normal life to concentrate on Slaying. How about, after 
a particularly intense night of Slayage, Faith takes Buffy back to 
her motel room and shows how to really be a "Bad Girl"?

How would Willow react to all of this? And can she bring Buffy back 
to her senses, and away from Faith, in time to stop the Ascension?
