Willow panicking initially and Buffy having to do something out of a
teen movie, like pledge her love to her over the p.a. system at a
football game, to win her over.

nergal, thanks for the challenge. Nice central premise, too. I know
that the B/Xers sometimes claim that when HyenaXander told Buffy to
"stop pretending [she wasn't] attracted" he was smelling the pheremones
she was giving off (this is possible, but it's just as possible, IMO,
that he was deluded) and so there's no reason VampWillow can't have the
same sensitive nose and put it to nice B/W use.

Say, doesn't that kill the idea that Buffy always wanted Spike? If he'd
smelt anything like that in Season 2, he'd have damn sure thrown it in
her face, right? Oh, darn, now it's not true love <g>
