Maybe Buffy could make (or have the result of a situation be getting offered the granting of) a wish to have the child of her soulmate, assuming incorrectly that it's Angel (or?); in the course of the story, Buffy undergoes a transformation (physical and otherwise) and finds her true love (we know who!) and her true self.
