It's wonderful that you feel this way, but it's basically just a
function of how the list is set up.  
Due to an attack of spammers in the spring, Quin (aka The Moderator Who
Actually Knows About The Internet) reset the lists so that new members
would have their posts moderated (ie, requiring approval) until such
time as a moderator changed it to "may post without moderation". (BTW,
this is why you don't get those "Check this out!" spams to defunct porn
sites on this list--I see them, I delete them, I kick the sender off
the list. Thanks, Quin!)

So when Angela wrote her message introducing herself to the group, I had
to approve it, and therefore I had to see it. And since she was looking
for some response, I figured that I ought to do so--simple as that.
And as I said, I'd been a little remiss in not posting invitations for
new people to join the discussion lately. Really, it was no big deal.

Glad to hear you've got your siblings off being educated, and I
completely understand about how shocked you are to be on SIX different
Buffy lists. This time last year, I was saying the same thing to Eliza
Lover (Winnipeg's finest feedbacker; Hi, Tera!) and she told me that
was nothing, she was on 46 separate Buffy lists. I boggled at the
concept, because of course there was no way **my** obsession with BtVS
was going to be that all-consuming.  

And of course, I was entirely right--I'm only on 42 "Buffy" lists these
days. :) See what you've got to look forward to?

Hmm, I wonder why Tori ran screaming into the night like that? Odd.
