FIC: Learning to live pt 20

Pairing: Willow/other - Willow/ Buffy eventually
Spoilers: Season 6 maybe others somewhere down the road
Summery: Giles brings someone in to help after everything happens in 
season 6. Sorry I suck at this part.
Author notes: I have never written anything before this, so please 
tell me what you think


"Sara, is everything ok", Willow asked her girlfriend.
"Yeah, just been a long day, we will talk but lets wait until Kim 
calls back and we know what we have to talk about. Now go rest, we 
didn`t get much sleep last night." Sara kissed them both and
walked 
into her room and shut the door.  




Sara sat in her chair and thought about what Willow had asked 
her. `Am I ok. I came here to help a friend and my whole life
gets 
turned upside down. I sure as hell didn't plan this. I know I
love 
Willow and I think Buffy too. Hell maybe from the minute I laid eyes 
on them both but I know she loves Buffy and Buffy loved Willow. So 
where did that leave me? Now there were two babies that were going to 
depend on them all. How the hell can we make it work? Can it? Would 
someone get jealous?' She knew that she should be talking to them 
about it but didn't know where to begin. They needed to sort
there 
own feeling for each other first and then maybe she could talk to 
them. Sara was hoping that they would be doing that now. She knew 
that they would both be to wound up to sleep. Sara closed her eyes 
and sighed.   



Buffy and Willow watched the door to Sara room close. Buffy saw the 
look of hurt in Willow eyes at seeing Sara leave and walked over, 
took her hand and lead her to her room.
"Will, I think you need to give her some time. I think she has
been 
alone for so long that now that she has someone it is hard for her to 
lean on them"; Buffy said lying on the bed and pulling Willow
down 
beside her.
"What if she doesn't want this", Willow asked Buffy.
"I don't think she is the type of person to walk away from
things. I 
just think she needs time to figure it out by herself, when she is 
ready she'll talk".
"Buffy what about us? What do you want? Do you want there to be
an 
us?" Buffy thought for a minute and then put her hand on Willow 
stomach, "Will, your most likely going to be having my child. I
want 
you more then anything in this world. I think the sun rises and sets 
in your eyes. My stomach does flip-flops when you smile. I love the 
feel of your skin when I touch you. I want to wake up to you every 
morning and go to bed with you every night. I want to grow old and 
sit in our rocking chairs on the front and watch the grandkids play. 
We have so much to look forward too now. I have a chance at a future. 
If that means that I have to share you, after last night and being 
with Sara, there is no one I would rather share that life with then 
the both of you. If you will have me?"
"I think that it one of the most beautiful things anyone has said
to 
me", Willow said with tears in her eyes, "I don't know
whether I can 
say things quite so poetically but I feel the same way. I have loved 
you for so long. Sometimes it used to hurt so much because I
couldn't 
tell you how I felt. Then I met Tara and I fell in love with her. I 
never forgot my feelings for you but I knew that I had to move on and 
face the fact that I would never be able to be with you. We do have 
a chance now and I think we need to make the best of it. I know that 
the world may not understand a three way relationship but I know that 
I want us to be a family together". 
"Me too", Buffy answered and pulled Willow closer and put her
head on 
her shoulder, "Get some sleep, baby, we have to tell Giles
tonight 
and I don't think he is going to be a very happy camper. I can
almost 
hear the `Oh dear lord' now." Willow and Buffy drifted
off to sleep 
holding each other dreaming of the future.


Sara head popped up at the sound of the phone ringing, "Hello,
yes 
it me. Hey Kim, oh?ok?yes?next week?ok?I got
it?thanks for coming 
down?I will?. Yeah, I'm all right?tell Jo
thanks?Bye." Sara hung up 
the phone and headed upstairs. She peaked into Willow's room and 
found it empty and moved down to Buffy's room. She found both
girls 
curled together asleep, `Damn they were so beautiful
together.' Sara 
sat down in the corner of the room and watched the witch and the 
slayer sleep. Finally after a little while Buffy began to stir. She 
opened her eyes and saw Sara watching them.
"Hey, how long have you been here", She whispered not wanting
to wake 
the red head sleeping beside her. 
"About an hour. You looked so peaceful I didn't want to
bother you. 
I'm glad your up though. Dawn and Jen will be home soon."
"Did Kim call", Buffy asked.
"Yeah right before I came up here".
"So", Buffy asked.
"Why don't you wake Willow and I will tell you both
together", Sara 
told her. Buffy tried to read her face, not finding an answer she 
woke Willow. 
"Well", Willow and Buffy asked.
"The blood test was positive. You both are pregnant". All
three sat 
and stared at each other for a minute unsure what to say. 
"Sara, Hon?
"MOM, you home", Jen yelled.
"I had better go see what she wants. We can talk tonight after
they 
go to bed", Sara said and got off the floor, heading for the
door. 
She turned and took one more look at the women she loved, and then 
went out the door.


Giles watched the three older girls during dinner. He could tell 
something was wrong but couldn't put his finger on it. Dawn and
Jen 
talked about there day and what had happened in school. Every so 
often Sara, Buffy, or Willow would comment about something they said 
but for the most part sat quietly and listened. Giles saw Buffy look 
at Willow and then to Sara. Sara for her part seems to be distracted 
and not paying attention to it. Just as Giles finished up Sara asked 
to see him in the office, "Dawn, Jen you have KP tonight. Willow, 
Buffy give me just a minute with Giles and then would you join us, 
please."


"Giles, I need a favor from you please. Can you hold off on
telling 
Buffy and Willow about Sonce until we have a little more info. I know 
you want to know why and we will tell you as soon as they join us. I 
think once you hear what we have to say, old friend, you will 
understand."
"Sara, I trust that you will have an explanation for asking. I
really 
need Buffy's help on this."
"Yeah I do and you have my help, Giles. We will beat this but not 
with Buffy or Willow".
There was a soft knock on the door and Buffy and Willow walked in. 
They sat on the couch beside each other holding hands. To Giles it 
seemed as though they were waiting for punishment from a parent.
`I 
guess I am the closest thing either girl has to a parent', Giles 
thought. Sara pulled the blue book out of the drawer and handed it to 
Giles, "Rupert, take a look at the first page of this. Don't
read 
more then a couple lines please and see if you recognize it. But 
don't read all the way though".
"Sara you showed this to me right after we met. You asked me the
same 
thing then. I still have no ideas. It is the spell that conceived 
Jen. Why are you showing this to me know", Giles asked and then 
looked at Willow who blushed and them at Buffy who winced and went 
pale, "Oh dear lord, Willow did you read this"?
"Yes, I found it by accident last night. I didn't know it was
a magic 
book. I swear."
"Sara, is Willow pregnant", Giles asked?
"Yes, but Giles we have another problem, she translated it for
me. 
When I was in the getting the first aid kit for Buffy, Willow showed 
it to Buffy. Rupert, your slayer is going to be a mom too".
"WHAT", Giles screamed, "WE CAN NOT HAVE A PREGNANT
SLAYER"	
"Giles, you have a pregnant slayer. I had a doctor look at them
both 
today and she confirmed it for me", Sara told Giles, "We had
no idea 
what was going on last night?
"We are you telling me you were in this too"
"Yes, I was. I guess you could say I am the father". 
"Oh dear lord", he said and took his glasses off and cleaned 
them, "Sara do you still have that scotch handy". Sara poured
him a 
drink and he continued, " The council is going to shit when they
hear 
this."
"Well they can do whatever they want as long as they clean up
after 
themselves", Buffy said, "I am going to have this baby,
regardless of 
what they think". Sara was surprised at the determination in her 
voice. 
"I have to agree with Buffy on this one. She is an adult now and
has 
a right to choose what she does with her life. She has done more then 
enough for the council and the world", Willow told Giles. 
"Well I see that you that you have made up your mind. Not that I 
could do much about it at this point anyway. So I guess I should 
congratulate you both. Seeing as I feel like you both are my 
daughters then that makes me a grandpa".
"Well Gramps, I have to go to the club and check on a order that
was 
screwed up would you like to go with me", Sara asked the Watcher.
"Yes I think I would like to see Gail for a minute".
"Ladies, I should be back soon, would you keep an eye on Jen for
me", 
Sara asked Willow and Buffy.
"Will you back in time for us to talk", Buffy asked Sara
knowing 
Willow needed to know what her girlfriend was feeling.
"I should be. I know we have a lot to discuss."
