OT: But may be of interest (WWE Billy and Chuck)

I am really disapointed in the way the commitment ceremony of Billy
and Chuck went. I was really looking foward to them getting
married. I'm not a political person so the political ramifications
do nothing for me, put the personal one (I'm a lesbian, although a
closeted one) did. I've always like Billy Gunn, I'm a big fan ever
since he was an Outlaw. He is my second third favorite person on
the show (Only Triple H and an evil Stephanie beat him)

I'm not stupid I know that the majority of people who watch the wwe
are teenager to mid thirties testosterione filled straight men, and
that type tends to be the biggest majority of those who have a
problem with gay men, but this (and i'm a struggling writer here who
has watched wrestling since I was small enough to fit comfortably on
my fathers stomach) is a travesty to all things gay.

I admit I have no clue what you will do next, but if it turns out
Billy and Chuck are straight and this really was just a publististy
stunt ( for them and the WWE) I know a lot of people both gay and
strait who will stop watching. I'm not just saying that either.
Most of my friends are as unpolitcal as me, but even us unpolitical
people (and yes we do vote) eventually get to the point where we
say as Popeye said it best (I've stood all I can stand, and I can't
stand no more)

In closing I love the WWE I always have. It is my testoeroine fix.
Even at the age of ten (and I'm 26 nearly 27 now) I could call
matches with a 75% being right rait,I saw it as a soap opera with
sweaty men, but even after more then 15 years I am ready to call it
quits over this.

I just hope I'm wrong or that there is some explination that I can
live with. I'd hate to stop watching a show I enjoy because of
political reasons. It might set a bad presenent.

*** For those of you who don't watch the WWE - Billy and Chuck are
wretlers who have been tag team partners, they held the tag team
belts at least once and for awhile too. For awhile now there has
been inuendo about how close they really were, but a week ago Chuck
asked Billy to be "his partner for life." Yesturday (Thursday
September 12) was the ceremony, at the end when their "Stylist)
started acting weird they yelled at him saying things weren't
supposed to go as far as they did (they pretty much went through
with the cermony except for the part where the Justice of the Peice
[who in an twist of fate wasn't a justice of the peice {he was the
owner of the rival division} pronounced them married they said that
it was just a publisity stunt}

PS funny as Hell though when they walked down the ramp to get to the
ring (and the alter) the song that was sung was "Its raining men"
