In fact, the more I think about it, the more I don't believe Willow not
telling Buffy about the "clothes fluke". If ever there was a moment
for a tearful confession and "oh, Buffy, what am I going to do?" talk,
that was it. But Joss just wanted a reason to have Willow forgive Buffy
about the Angel thing and needed W/X to stay a secret so that Cordy
could discover it, get impaled and have her impetus to leave town--it's
just a plot device and they didn't bother to make sure it was handled
credibly. Ah, well...
