The alarm beside Willow head went off rousing her from her deep
slumber. Willow hit the snooze button and snuggled back down. She
didn't want to go back to sleep but just ponder things a little
longer. It had been three weeks since the night that Buffy had told
her about the rape, and Sara had came out and sang to them. They had
taken Sara home and she finally told them what had happened. She had
told them about her visit from Josie, and what she had said about
Willow. Willow had been shocked but somehow knew that it was true.
She had called her parents and they had confirmed that she had been
adopted. She told them about the baby and to say they were less then
thrilled was an understatement. They told her that if she choose to
have it that they didn't want anything to do with it or her. She was
disappointed but they had never really been there for anyway. Willow
had all the family she needed right there in the house but it was all
she could do to keep Sara from calling them back. `Just let me talk
to them, I have a few words I would like to say to them', Willow
remembered Sara telling her. Sara was still having bad days but was
getting better with her and Buffy's help. Sara darkness was still
there sometimes but the walls were gone. They all knew that if Sara
disappeared into the training room and the music got loud to leave
her be. She would stay in there and work out her aggression. Willow
slipped out of bed and got dressed, she took one last look at her
girlfriends as they snuggled closer together, that was the other
change since that night, they all slept in the same bed every night
now. No matter how late Buffy or Sara came home they would crawl into
the bed. Sara never went on patrol alone, Xander or Giles would go
and even Anya went one night, they were mostly just there so she
wouldn't be alone. Willow made her way to the kitchen and started
breakfast. She was whistling to herself when she heard someone clear
their throat, and turned to see Dawn standing in the doorway, "Good
morning Dawnie. Your up awfully early". Normally Willow had a good
half an hour with the house to herself in the morning.
"I couldn't sleep and I thought I heard someone get up", Dawn told
her.
"Something wrong, we can talk if you want"?
"Your really happy aren't you."
"Yes I am. Things have been really awesome lately. Dawn, are you ok
with things. I know that it might be a lot to handle, you know your
sister involved with two women and pregnant by them."
"Oh, I am more then happy. I have seen how much you all love her and
make her want to live again."
"So, What's up then", Willow asked sensing the teens need to talk.
"Well something weird happened last night and it made me very
confused", Dawn started as Willow nodded her head for her to
continue, "It's not like I hated it, I didn't want it to stop and it
is not so much it confuses me but where does it go from here."
"Um, Dawn maybe it would help me if I knew what `it' is", Willow told
her confused herself.
"W-well um I-I w-well I mean w-we k-kind of kissed", Dawn whispered.
"Who's we, Dawn"
"Me and Jen", Dawn said blushing. Willow broke into a smile and put
her arm around Dawn, "So you have feelings for each other then?"
"Yeah we talked after the kiss and we really want to see where this
can go"
"Ok then what's the problem"
"Buffy and Sara, we don't know how to tell them and we are afraid of
what they will say" Willow couldn't help but laugh at her but when
she saw the look of horror on Dawn face she stopped, "Oh honey, I'm
sorry. I'm not laughing at you. I just think given the circumstances
surrounding Buffy and Sara relationship with each other and me, that
I don't think that they will give you too much of a problem. It would
be like the pot calling the kettle black". Dawn thought for a minute
and then started to giggle with Willow.
"Good morning", Jen said coming into the room, "So sis what is so
funny"?
"You", Willow said trying to regain her composure. Jen looked from
Dawn to Willow, "Care to share"?
"I told her about us", Dawn answered.
"And you think that's funny", Jen asked her new sister?
"Oh well not about you two but about your fear of Buffy and Sara".
"Well they are like the two strongest women in the world. Would you
want to piss them off", Jen asked.
"Well no I guess not but I think you had better talk to them. I think
honesty would be the best move for you." The conversation was cut off
when Sara came into the kitchen mumbled good morning, gave Willow a
quick kiss, grabbed a bottle of water and headed for the training
room.
"I think I will go talk to her now and get it over with", Jen told
them.
"Good luck", Dawn said giving Jen a warm smile.

"Mom, can I talk to you for a minute. Willow thinks I ought to talk
to you about this and I would rather not put it off", Jen asked her
mom. Sara smiled at Jen and Willow adjusting to the fact that they
were sisters.
"Sure munchkin".
"You haven't called me that in years. Oh well hear it is, Dawn and I
want to start dating. I was really afraid to tell you but Willow says
that we need to be honest with you and Buffy".
"Have you talked to Buffy yet", Sara asked calmly?
"No not yet, it just happened last night and I wanted to talk to you
first".
"As far as I am concerned, I just want your happiness, if that means
you find that in a woman than so be it. I of all people can
understand that. I do expect that this be handle in a mature manner.
I think that a separate bedroom for you both is a good idea. I'm not
saying that you have to be a saint but I don't want you to rush
things either. Lastly I think you should be the one to talk to Buffy".
"Talk to Buffy about what", Buffy asked as she came into the room?
"Well I think I hear Willow calling", Sara said excusing herself so
that her daughter and girlfriend could talk alone.
"Um, hey Buff, how's it going".
"Fine feeling a little queasy this morning but other then that I am
fine. So you need to talk to me"
"Ahh, yeah, wow I didn't know that this would be so hard. Well um you
see last night, I well I kind of kissed your sister", Jen finally
admitted.
"Ohh, well did she kiss you back"?
"Yeah and we talked and we want to start dating. We know we are young
and we don't want to rush things but we both feel that it should be
explored."
"Did your mom give you a speech about this? Separate bedrooms and
stuff. Cause I think she is a little better at the mom speech then I
am right now"?
"Yup", Jen said brightly, "So it's ok with you then"?
"Yes I think so unless I come across something I don't like."
"Thank you, I promise nothing not to like. Oh wow, ok I have to go
find Dawn", Jen said hugged Buffy and ran for the door. Sara who was
waiting outside came into the room, "So what ya think. Good thing or
bad thing"?
"I think if they find half the happiness I have found with you and
Willow then they should count themselves lucky", Buffy said and gave
her a big kiss, "But separate bedrooms and we need to put that spell
book under lock and key".
"Wow maybe I ought to have had my daughter date your sister sooner
and already is".
