FIC: Learning to live pt29

Spoilers: Season 6 maybe others somewhere down the road
Summery: Giles brings someone in to help after everything happens in 
season 6. Sorry I suck at this part.
Author notes: I have never written anything before this, so please 
tell me what you think


Jen came running into the kitchen, "They said yes. We can date but 
we have to have separate rooms but they both said yes. Jen grabbed 
Dawn and hugged her and gave her a small timid kiss. Willow smiled at 
the display of young love. Dawn pulled Jen to her feet, "Come on 
we're going to be late". The two teens went out the door holding 
hands. Xander and Anya came in as they went out. 
"So what's up with them? They seemed awfully chipper this morning", 
Xander said.
"Yup, young love", Willow told the newlyweds.
"Jen and Dawn, oh wow", Anya said.
"I know it's cool. I hope it works out for them". Buffy and Sara came 
into the kitchen. Buffy walked up to Willow and gave her a kiss. 
Buffy noticed Willow looking a little green, "Good morning, how are?
Buffy didn't get to finish before Willow went running from the room.
"Well I guess that answered my question. I think I will go check on 
her real fast", Buffy told them. Giles and Gail came in 
laughing, "Well morning sickness strikes".
"So Sara, Anya and I have been talking and we think we probably ought 
to move back to our place. With the babies coming it is going to get 
crowded", Xander said.
"Oh no you don't, you are not leaving me with two pregnant women by 
myself. Nope no way, ain't gonna happen. If I have to go through this 
so do you all. No one is moving out. Xander what is your next job".
"We will be finishing up the one we are on now in a couple days and 
then I don't think we have much else, why".
"Have you foreman call me. I was thinking about the over crowding 
issue this morning. Dawn is going to need a room, now and the babies 
will need a room. So I was thinking we could add a floor to the 
garage, it would make a nice three-bedroom apartment up there. You 
and Anya could take it, that way you could have your own space but be 
close at hand. Giles you can take my room off the office and since 
Gail seems to be spending most nights with him, that would give you 
guys some privacy", Sara stopped as Willow and Buffy came into the 
room followed by Dawn and Jen.
"Hey Baby, how you feeling", Sara asked Willow.
"Been better but I think I will make it. What's up"?
"I was just talking about the space issue", Sara filled the four of 
them in from the beginning, " Anyway that leaves a room for Dawn, 
Jen, and the babies with two left over. Since there are three of us I 
was thinking that we could take the wall out from between them and 
make one big room. That way until the babies go into their room, 
there would be room in our room for bassinets."
"Woman, were does your mind come up with this stuff. I think we can 
do it. It will take a little time, that is some major construction", 
Xander told her.
"Well we have eight months, I think that should be enough time".
"Sara you remember we have a doctors appointment today, are you going 
to make it. They are going to do the first ultrasound", Buffy said.
"I wouldn't miss it".
"Doc, you will not growl at the doctor this time understand".
"Yes ma'am. No growling, promise best behavior", Sara laughed.
"Okay then you can go".

The trio arrived at the doctor's office and waited to be called. 
Finally the nurse called them back to a room with an ultrasound 
machine and bed. 
"Well ladies you can get undressed and decide who goes first, Dr. 
Phillips will be in a minute", the nurse told them.
"Me first, me first", Buffy whined and jumped up on the table.
"Ok, if you are that excited be my guest", Willow told her 
girlfriend. There was a knock on the door and a middle aged man 
appeared, "Good morning ladies how you feeling today".
"Morning sickness", Willow replied.
"Me too".
"Me three", Sara answered and shrugged seeing the looks form her 
girlfriends.
"Alrighty then, why don't we get started. Buffy, I guess this means 
you want to go first". The doctor turned on the machine and put some 
cold goop on Buffy's stomach.
"Eww, damn doc you keep that in the freezer", Buffy yelled. Willow 
and Sara huddled around the screen as funny shapes appeared and 
disappeared. 
"I can't see anything", Willow pouted. The doctor moved the curser 
around the screen, "Here is the head and the spine. If you look real 
close you can see the heartbeat." He continued to move it around on 
Buffy's stomach, "Hmm"
"Doc don't hmm. What's up", Willow asked concerned.
"Well if you look here you can see a head".
"You just showed us that, so why the hmm", Sara asked?
"Let me rephrase that. Here is another head", the man chuckled, "Miss 
Summers it appears you are having twins." Sara felt her knee go weak 
and she thought she was going to pass out.
"Doc, you ok".
"Oh, twins. TWINS", Sara squeaked.
"Yes and other then that everything seems normal. I would say we are 
looking at the middle of June". Sara collapsed into a chair, `Wow ok 
breath Sara, you can do this'.
"Are you ready Miss Rosenburg"? Buffy got off the bed and put her 
hand on Sara shoulder as Willow got onto the table, "You alright 
there, Sara".
"Yup nothing we can't handle. We can handle three babies." The doctor 
started to laugh, "Well Dr. Stevens you might want to make that four. 
Willow here is carrying twins too."
Sara jumped out of her chair, "Phillips that is not funny". 
"Nope no joke four babies."
"Holy shit", Sara started and passed out.



"Would you both just quit laughing at me", Sara glared at her 
girlfriends, "I find out I have two girlfriends who are having twins. 
I think passing out is quite acceptable behavior". That just made 
Willow and Buffy laugh harder.  
"Oh come on Doc, you have to admit that it was a little funny", 
Willow said wiping a tear from her eye. Sara couldn't help but 
giggle, "Alright maybe a little funny. I have to go to the club so I 
think I will just walk."
"I have a class. Willow would you drop me off."
"Sure, I have to go to the store before I pick up Jen and Dawn. I 
will see you tonight, Doc?"
"Count on it, I have to get you both back for laughing at me. I think 
I have the perfect revenge".
"Hmm, I think I might like that", Buffy sighed, "See you tonight". 
Sara kissed them and walked off. Willow got into the drivers seat, 
she and Buffy took off for the campus.
"So Will, I will not admit it to anyone else but I was as freaked out 
as Sara".
"Me too. I mean one was scary but two, my god Buffy that is four".
"I know but nothing we can do but deal. We have plenty of help, so we 
will be alright". The girls were quiet the rest of the way to the 
campus. Buffy blew a kiss to Willow and headed for her first class.


Willow stopped at the store, picked up a few, loaded them in the 
van and started for the high school. She was so lost in the thought 
of having four babies in the house that she didn't notice the 
oncoming car go left of center until it was too late. The airbag 
exploded in her face and felt blood run into her eyes. Her last 
thought before blacking out was that she would never get the chance 
to find out.


The paramedics jumped from the ambulance and one headed for the car 
as the other rushed to the van.
"The driver of the car is dead", the first one said.
"This one has a pulse but it's weak. Lets get her out", the second 
paramedic informed him. It took twenty minutes to get her removed 
from the van and into the ambulance. They were half way to the 
hospital when the beeping started, the paramedic in the back shouted 
to his partner, "Shit man hurry, we're losing her".
