Even though "Villains" essentially destroyed the show by making Willow a
murderer and I gave it a score of "0 out of 10, 0 out 10,000, 0 out of
infinty" for that, and it also contained the gouge-your-eyes-out bad
"Buffy trusts, misses, and defends her rapist" scenes, it wasn't
entirely void of storytelling skills and thus stays out of the bottom of
the pit. 

One of those nice bits is, like you said, Willow saving Buffy, and the
cute vibe that Willow, even now, still considers even murder to be a
Scooby project.

I think there were seven or eight eps I classify as worse than
"Villains" this season (and the popularly-despised "Wrecked" and
"Doublemeat Palace" are not among them). Which, considering the fact
that I think "Villains" essentially destroyed the show, really doesn't
say much for Season Sux, does it?
