roommates and...



Part 2 - Being With Buffy


"So Wil, what do you think of that Parker Abrams?" Buffy gestured 
toward the goofy upperclassman who was smiling in their direction. 

"I don't, but I guess he's alright if you like that shallow, shark 
type." Willow glared at him, causing him to turn away quickly.

"Wil! That wasn't very nice." Buffy giggled and leaned close. "I 
think you scared him."

"Good. I don't trust him, Buffy. The way he looks at you... it's... 
it's obscene." The red head muttered, casting another glance the 
Parker's way.

"If I didn't know better I'd think that you were jealous." The little 
slayer teased causing Willow to blush and look away.

"Hi Buffy. Willow." They both looked up to see Riley standing at 
their table. "Do you mind?" He gestured at an empty seat.

Willow felt like saying yes, but Riley was a nice enough guy. She 
couldn't fault him for liking Buffy, but it didn't mean she wanted 
him around.

"Sure." Buffy offered in a friendly tone, smiling and batting her 
eyelashes. Both Riley and Willow sighed. 

"Thanks. I just came over to get a caffeine boost before a long night 
of grading papers, and I saw you gals sitting over here... thought 
I'd just stop and say hello." He gave Buffy a lovesick smile.

Willow shifted in her seat. She wished he'd just go away. Stealing a 
peek at the little blonde, she noticed Buffy was only half listening 
to him anyway. *Good.* The red head smiled at Riley. "So you have a 
lot of papers to grade? What a coincidence we have several to write 
so we'd better get going, right Buffy?"

"Oh... uh yeah.. Sorry Riley, we have hit the books. Bye." Buffy 
waved as Willow grabbed her hand and dragged her away. Once they were 
out of earshot, the slayer turned to her. "Thanks for the save. 
Riley's a doof. But I hope you don't really want to do homework. I 
thought tonight we'd have some fun."

The little witch gave her a big, happy grin. "What kind of fun? I'm 
up for it."

"The drinking kind. I say we get a little drunk and watch some tv... 
hang out. You know, celebrate our new roomies status." The pretty 
slayer giggled and pulled Willow to her giving her a hug.

Willow held her tight for a moment, grinning as she teased. "Okay 
Buffy, I'll let you get me drunk." 

"Hurray! Drunk, silly Wil... this should be fun!" Buffy skipped along 
causing Willow to laugh.

*Could Buffy be any cuter?! Ugh! NO!* She smiled as she chased after 
the sexy little blonde.
