FIC: Wild one 6/?

Pairing: Willow/ Buffy
Spoilers: I guess all of the shows this is A/U but some of it might 
come up.
Summery: A/U A different first season, different Willow.
Author notes: I am still working on Learning to live. Let me know if 
you think.


Buffy walked into her first class and noticed that Willow was 
already there, asleep. She sat down in her seat and sighed. `Damn 
that was some kiss', she thought.
"Are you ok", Cordy asked her. 
"Huh, oh uh, yeah." Before she could say anymore the teacher began 
to lecture. Buffy didn't hear a word that the teacher was saying. She 
just kept replaying the kiss over and over in her head. She looked at 
the sleeping red head in front of her. `Where is this coming from. I 
have never felt this way about another girl but then again I have 
never felt like this for a guy either.' The bell rang and Buffy 
realized that she hadn't even opened her book. Cordy tapped Willow 
on the shoulder, "Come on sleepy head time to go to class". Willow 
looked up and smiled at her and then looked at me. Buffy thought her 
heart stopped at the look of lust in her eyes. Cordy looked between 
her two friends and wondered what had happened to bring this on. 
"Hey Buffy don't you both have computer next. Do you think you could 
make sure she makes it class", Cordy asked and handed her Willow's 
book. Buffy was saved from having to make conversation with Willow by 
Xander waiting outside of the door. The trio was quiet as they made 
there way to class. They were almost there when Buffy heard Willow 
mutter something that sounded like 'shit'. All of the sudden a very 
big guy grabbed Willow and threw her against the lockers.
"You stupid bitch", he said. Buffy saw him draw his fist back to hit 
her and started to intercede, Xander grabbed her, "Hold on, Buff. She 
can handle herself." Willow ducked out of the way of his fist and 
brought her knee into his groin. She flipped him around and threw him 
into the locker, "Can I help it if I can fuck her better then you. 
Maybe if you were little nicer to her she wouldn't have had to come 
to me". Willow slammed her fist in his face twice sending blood 
running from his nose and then kicked his feet from under him, 
sending him crashing to his knees. Buffy stood there in shock at 
seeing the speed and brutality of the fight. Willow looked at the 
other guy he was with; "Get him out of here before I really hurt 
him." She walked by an opened mouth Buffy grabbed her book and went 
into class. Buffy looked at Xander but all he could do was shrug, "I 
guess he didn't like the fact that she took his girl away". Buffy 
had a hard time keeping the jealousy off her face at the thought of 
Willow being with another girl, so she turned and walked into class. 
She noticed that Willow already had her head down. The bell rang just 
as she sat down. Miss Calendar began talking but Buffy couldn't keep 
her mind on anything but Willow. 
"Xander, what did she take", the teacher asking bring Buffy back to 
the room.
"Jenny, she was sober when she got here, I swear."
"Well she isn't now and she can barely keep her head up."
"Will she get in trouble", Buffy asked.
"Buffy if you know something please tell me. I will try my best to 
keep her out of trouble but this could be serious". Buffy sighed and 
told them about running into Willow in the bathroom this 
morning, "She said it was like playing Russian roulette." Xander put 
his head in his hands, "She really does have a death wish".
"Buffy did she tell you what kind of pills they were, what did they 
look like", Jenny asked.
"No she didn't say but they were white and about this big".
"She usually takes Lortab and speed. She had a pretty nasty bruise on 
her back last night so I am betting on the pain pills", Xander told 
them.
"Ok I am going to go call Shelly and see if she can come take a look, 
after class we can take her to the library and have her sleep it off 
in Rupert's office." 


Xander carried Willow into the office of the library put her on the 
couch. He looked at Jenny, "I have to get to class, I will be back as 
soon as it's over".
Jenny looked at the shy boy and put her hand on his shoulder, "We 
will take care of her for you, I promise".
"I have a free period, Xan, I'll stay here too", Buffy told him. 
Xander glanced once more to the door of the office and shook his head 
sadly, then left. Jenny looked at Buffy and smiled, "So Rupert this 
is the new slayer you were talking about". Buffy whipped her around 
and looked at Giles.
"Yes it is. Don't worry Buffy, Jenny knows all about slayers. Her 
father was a watcher for many years. He had two slayers under his 
care. I also went to school with her".
"Oh, um ok then. I told my mom you were coming tomorrow so you'd 
better be there". 
"Yes, yes of course", he said still not liking the idea. The doors 
to the library opened and short dark haired women with a medical bag 
came in, "Hey Jen, how she doing".
"Ok right now but we don't know for sure what she took. We put her in 
Rupert's office to sleep it off. Oh and this is Buffy Summers, Buffy 
this is my girlfriend Shelly she's a doctor in the ER here".
"Ah the new slayer to the rescue, now maybe the ER will slow down at 
night", Shelly told her.
"Giles does this whole damn town know about me. Oh and it's nice to 
meet you".
"No not the whole 'damn' town but a few select who will be helping 
you along the way", Giles informed her.
"I get help here".
"This is not LA, this is the Sunnydale, home of the mouth of hell", 
Giles told her the history of the Hellmouth as Shelly went to check 
on Willow.
"So I have a team here", Buffy asked.
"Yes there is myself, Jenny she is a witch and helps with the spells. 
Shelly is our medical expert and trust me we will need it here and 
then there is Angel, a vampire with a soul and he has two people that 
he works with".
"A vamp with a soul, what the fuck", Buffy could keep the surprise 
out of her voice.
"Long story short, he killed a gypsy once and their punishment was to 
curse him with a soul, so that he could atone for his crimes." 
Shelly came out from the office shaking her head, "Well the good news 
is she will be ok".
Jenny looked at her girlfriend, "And the bad news"?
"I can't be sure without ex-rays but I would say that the bastard 
cracked three ribs this time. I taped them up as best I could but she 
won't let me take her the hospital. Jenny I really don't know how 
much more she can take. I would report it again but we both know she 
would just deny it again."
"I know sweetie, I know. Thanks for getting here so soon", Jenny told 
her.
"Can I go see her", Buffy asked. 
"Yeah she was awake when I left".


Buffy walked quietly into the room as not to disturb Willow if she 
had fallen asleep.
"I'm awake".
"Oh, ok", Buffy said not sure what to say now that she was in there. 
"So how are you feeling", Buffy asked sitting down on the floor 
beside the couch.
"Had better days, had worse".
"Woman of many words, why did you kiss me this morning"? Willow sat 
up and looked Buffy in the eyes, "Why did you kiss me back". 
"I don't know", she said honestly. Willow stood up, pulled Buffy to 
her feet, began to suck on her earlobe and then whispered into her 
ear, "Because I wanted too". Willow planted another kiss on her lips 
and walked out of the room. Buffy wanted to follow her to tell her to 
quit walking away but couldn't get her brain to tell her feet to 
move. "Well hell", Buffy said and ran out of the room to find the 
room empty, "son of a bitch".
