Aw, MacBeth! Unrequited Buffy gets me all the time: self-sacrificing
because she's alone, and alone because she sacrifices her needs for what
she perceives others' to be. "Her blonde love who is not me..." Ouch.
A wonderful miniature of alienation. And when she saw Willow and that
other girl in the field, am I right in my thinking about Buffy's vantage
point in that scene? If so, cool.
