FIC: Wild one 9/?

Pairing: Willow/ Buffy
Spoilers: I guess all of the shows this is A/U but some of it might 
come up.
Summery: A/U A different first season, different Willow.
Author notes: I am still working on Learning to live. Let me know if 
you think.



Giles led the group through the dark cemetery. Buffy could hear 
the faint sounds of fighting. Giles put his fingers to his mouth in a 
motion for them to be quiet. Buffy gasped when she could finally see 
the scene in front of her. About 75 yards away was a tall man and a 
woman surrounded by 10 vamps. She looked at Giles and started to take 
off. 
"No Buffy just watch", Giles whispered. The dark man she assumed to 
be Angel looked up, saw them and nodded to Giles. Buffy almost lost 
it when saw that the young woman beside him was Willow. She wanted to 
run and rescue her when she saw that she was being attacked by three 
vamps but stopped when she saw her jump up on a tombstone and flip 
behind them. It was just enough of a surprise that she was able to 
stake two of them and knock the other senseless. Buffy just stood 
there with her mouth hanging open as the ten became five and then 
two, finally when Angel had taken care of his he strolled over. Buffy 
watched in awe as the red head fought the last one. With his back to 
Willow Angel didn't see the vamp knock the stake from her hand. `That 
pissed her off', Buffy thought as she saw Willow kick and punch.
"It is not nice to kick things from my hands", Buffy heard Willow 
tell the vamp. Willow just kept beating the vamp.
"Angel", Giles said and pointed behind him to Willow.
"Willow, stop playing and stake him for god sakes", Angel growled.
"Can't lost my stake", Willow told him. Angel pulled a stake from his 
coat, "Here catch", and threw it at Willow. In one quick motion she 
caught it and staked the vampire, then bushed the dust from her 
clothes and made her way to the group.
"Giles, what the hell is going on here? Why is Willow fighting and 
how did she catch that stake like that from what 75 yards away", 
Buffy yelled.
"Umm, I think someones in trouble. Deadboy, I think I let you guys do 
the explaining I'll make a quick sweep through town and go find some 
trouble of my own. Bye all", Willow said and took off before anyone 
could say anything.
"Ok now that I believe you, I would rather not stay here so way don't 
we head back to our house and talk there", Joyce told the 
grouplooking around the cemetry and shuddering.


Everyone sat around the table and waited for Angel and Giles to 
speak. Buffy patience was wearing thin, "Is somebody going to tell me 
what is going on here. Is Willow a slayer too".
"No, she is human", Giles started but was interrupted by Xander.
"Buffy, Willow parents see fit to kick her out about once a month. It 
started when she was ten. The first time it happened Angel found her 
in the park", Xander started and then looked at Angel to continue. 
"I found her in the park sitting on the swings crying. She told me 
that they had kicked her out and that she didn't know where to go. 
She said that she went to the park because she figured that would be 
the first place they would look for her but that they had never came. 
It was dark and I knew she wouldn't last long so I took her back to 
my place. Willow told me what was going on but being a vampire there 
was not much I could do. I really wanted to just go kill them for 
what they had done to this sweet child that was sitting in my living 
room, I still do but I knew that she loved them in her own way and it 
would devastate her. I decided then and there that I would train her, 
so she would at least have a fighting chance in this hellhole. She 
brought Xander around a few weeks later and I worked with them both. 
By the time Willow and Xander were 13 we had a pretty good system 
down. Xander would research and Willow and I would kill it. The 
council was happy to let her fill in as a slayer and I as her self 
appointed watcher until recently. They feel that Willow is just to 
unpredictable after the arrest to be trusted. 
"Arrest", Buffy asked.
"Yes about three month ago, Willow parents kicked her out again, she 
stole a car and headed to LA. She has a friend there and she is a lot 
of trouble. They were arrested in a drug raid. It was all the council 
could do to keep her out of juvenile hall. They know she can help but 
wanted someone a little more stable."
"Wow, um, I don't know what to say", Buffy said. She had so many 
things going through her head.
"So you see Buffy even though she doesn't have your strength or your 
healing abilities, she has spent the last five years be trained by a 
master vampire. You would be wise to learn from her", Giles told her.
"Willow was trained by a vamp to fight vamps, Xander is research guy, 
my librarian is my watcher, my computer teacher is a witch, and I 
have a two hundred and something year old vampire sitting in my 
house, can things get any stranger". Xander looked at his new friend 
and smiled, "Buffy the vampire slayer, welcome to Sunnydale, home of 
the Hellmouth. One word of advice though from a veteran never, ever 
ask if things can get stranger, cause they will".
