Re: Apologies, excuses, and scratching at the door
No big, you've only been gone for 4 months :) I'm pretty sure that
somewhere around here we have people who have vanished for far longer
(just don't ask me to think of who) Anyways, welcome back.

Some of you might remember me, I hope, while the rest of you are
thinking 'who *is* this boob?'.

note to each writer about each fic they've written since I went bye-
bye. Of course, that would mean a whole *lot* of posts hitting the
list one after the other, filling up inboxes with my inane drivel,
thereby pissing off everyone, and probably getting my sorry ass
banned, like, forever. Not to mention the medical bills for my now
terminal case of Carpel Tunnel <ouch>. So I'm not gonna do it.
Instead, I'm offering a general apology to the authors for enjoying
your stories without telling you how *much* I enjoyed your stories.
They made what has to have been the worst season of BTVS relatively
bearable. Thank you, sincerely.

always fun. One of these days I may actually backup my files (yeah,
right, like that's really gonna happen). I found myself with a lot
more work than usual (ahh, the joys of self-employment). There were
some family problems I won't bore you with. In other words, RL gave
me a cosmic wedgie. Ennh, it happens. I got over it.

truck died (see what happens when you listen to too much Country
music? Don't let this happen to you!!). Sorry, couldn't help myself.

stories after a prolonged absence. I'll always be wondering which
writer is reading my post and thinking 'where was this putz when I
was sweating blood over *my* story'. Silly, I know, but I do guilt
really well. It's a gift.

might want to put a warning label about reading them while consuming
carbonated beverages. That stuff hurts like the dickens when it
spurts out of your nose. hee hee. :)
