have made sense. I had found it strange and somewhat disturbing that 
Buffy (and everyone except Xander)tried to give Willow understanding, 
but not love--which is obviously what she needed most--to help her 
through the grief and rage. In fact, throughout season six there 
were a number of moments when B/W could have used a hug from the other
(in Entropy, for example) and it didn't happen, which kind of 
reinforced the whole detachment theme, I guess.

Good story, lots of depth and a happy ending...you sure know how to 
start of a week!
