Excellent idea! I've always thought that this, and not "boys" was what
Tara was worried about, but when Willow came up with the other, Tara
decided not to put ideas in her head. (Indeed, I've had a "Tara pov"
fic about this conversation on my list of things to write for months.)

I would love to see this situation develop, although The Bear is right
that I'm no fan of the threesome "solution" to triangles. I mean, would
Tara really want to share, especially since it would make her feel that
Willow was just giving her "pity access"? Would Buffy be comfortable
coming into a preexisting relationship? Would she believe that Willow
truly loved her, if Will was still with the old girlfriend? Do Buffy
and Tara have anything to base a relationship between them on, other
than they both like Willow? I ask myself these questions, and I get a
whole lot of "no" answers. JMO, of course.

Frankly, I think I'd prefer a W/T resolution (Willow realizes that Buffy
really doesn't feel that way, and now has to repair things with
Tara--or maybe Buffy spurns her out of some misguided nobility about
her being better off with Tara--or heck, how about Buffy just dies
before anything else happens [remember, it's only about two days from
the "lesbo street cred" scene to the dive off of the tower] and W/T just
have to deal with this element in their relationship, in addition to
everything else) to B/W/T.

Of course, for my money, nothing could be sweeter than Buffy and Willow,
ultimately. After all, even when she's with Tara, Willow still loves
Buffy, as we see. This makes me think her choice has already been made
:)

In case you can't tell, I want more!
