In Sunnydale, I would think one might want to be
cremated, if only to avoid all the nasties like being
dug up and zombified. I would imagine that we haven't
seen the only necromancers (The Zeppo) & mad
scientists (Some Assembly Required) in town.

Come to think of it, the Assembly folks were using
just-killed bodies, not pre-buried ones, right? Have
we ever had any true grave-robbers?

Still, being buried in a Sunny-D graveyard is just
asking to be turned into a walking corpse.

On the other hand, it kinda worked out for Buffy.
