Willow gave her ex-girlfriend a questioning look. She was visibly upset with the deception. ?What do you mean your name?s not really ?Tara??Who are you then? Why did you find it necessary to lie to me and every one else??

?Willow, I?m not human. And no, I?m not a demon either. I?m the goddess Aphrodite. We like to keep close tabs on the slayers, guide them intheir journeys. This includes watching those that they are close to. I saw how devastated you were when Oz left, and saw Buffy tell you that she loved you. I knew she meant it with every ounce of her being. I also saw your feelings for her, and your hesitation to voice them. When it was obvious you weren?t going to take matters into your own hands, I had to do my part to help guide the two of you on your paths. Something big is coming, bigger than the Initiative and Adam, and if you never found your way to eachother, the effects would be disastrous. I had to make her see that you were capable of returning her affections. I?ve been hoping an opportunity like this would arrive. Be with her, she needs you, will always need you. I can not begin to apologize enough for the deception, but you will eventually realize how important it is that the two of are together. I?ll always be watching and guiding the two of you on your paths, even if you don?t see me.?

?Bigger? We?re--We?re meant to be together?? Willow questioned, everything still sinking in.

?Everything will be revealed in time my dear. You all have miles to go on your journey. Trust in yourself, and each other, and you?ll be fine. Goodbye, sweet Willow.? And with that, she faded away into nothingness.

?Well, I should head back to campus now.? Willow said to no one in particular

A little while later, Buffy makes it to the ruins of the old high school. She makes her way to where Riley had set up camp, but he wasn?t there. ?Riley! Where are you!? We need to talk! Riley!?? ?Damn him. I hope the Initiative hasn?t gotten their hands on him. Last thing I need toworry about is saving his sorry ass just so I can break up with him. But,yea, I get to go home to Willow now!? she thought as she started headingback to the dorm, back to her soul mate.

Sitting at her computer, Willow saw her roommate, no, girlfriend enter the dorm. ?Hey Buffy, you?re home early. Things go good with Riley??

?He wasn?t there. How did your talk with Tara go? She take things allright? Will we still see her around??

?Aphrodite.? Willow said.

?Maybe ol? Spike was right, you ARE a little too much into the ?witchstuff?. Now you?re spouting off the names of goddesses from the top of your head.? the slayer teased.

?No, Buff, Tara IS Aphrodite. She said something about watching you and those you?re close too, and helping us along our paths. She told me we?re supposed to be together, and that something bigger than Adam is coming.? 

?Bigger than Adam!? He?s huge! We still don?t know how to take him down.?

?I?m still working on the disks. I think I?m getting closer.? Shortly after the words left her mouth, the disks begin decrypting themselves.?They decrypted themselves? That is so annoying. It's like someone blurting out the answer to a riddle just when you've -- I mean, ?Yippee!?we have the information. This hardly seems all that important, just a bunch of stuff we already know about 314. Oh, this is interesting, apparently, in his final phase Adam intends to make a bunch more cyber-demons in a secret lab in Initiative headquarters.?

?Well, give the demon his due. He thought this one out. He probably plans on using the demons in the overcrowded cells to attack from the inside.?

?Just like chess, move your players into position, then checkmate. You think he?s worried you might take him down?? Willow asked the slayer.

?No, he?s really not. But whatever he has planned must involve me if he was trying to separate us, so this can wait till tomorrow. I have other things on my mind.? She gathered the witch up in her arms and kissed herdeeply, her tongue demanding and gaining entrance into her waiting mouth. Her hands started rubbing Willow?s breasts through her nightshirt. ?This has got to go? She says as she breaks the kiss to remove the garment in question, leaving Willow in a simple pair of white cotton panties, whichwere becoming visibly damp. ?You?re so beautiful Wills, never let anyone tell you any different? Willow?s entire body blushed, which only added to the wetness of the slayer.

The slender redhead didn?t say a word, first removing her now soaked panties. She then proceeded to help her blonde lover shed the clothing covering her. Once this was done, she started sucking the slayer?s neck while she absently let her hands roam her tight body. ?I can?t believe this is finally happening!? she thought as her hand grazed the small tuft of blonde hair just above the slayer?s swollen sex. ?That?s for me!?  

Buffy moaned Willow?s name. Slowly, the girls guided themselves to Willow?s bed, never breaking contact. ?I want to taste you.? she said, and began kissing and licking her way down Willow?s body, stopping briefly to admire the patch of red above her target. She then began slowly lickingthe witch?s outer lips, teasing her before beginning her final assault.  

Before she could do this though, Willow said ?You?re not having ALL thefun.? and moved into a sixty-nine so they could mutually please each other. Buffy grinned into Willow?s center as the witch?s tongue entered her own. Willow rolled Buffy?s clit between her thumb and forefinger. Knowing she was about to cum, Buffy started flicking her tongue over Willow?s nerve center, bringing about mutual release. Each girl licked up as much of the other?s juices as she could. They then kissed again, their tongues dueling as they tasted the combined efforts of their lovemaking. They fell asleep in each other?s arms, huge grins on their faces, basking inthe afterglow.

In another realm, Aphrodite watched the witch and slayer with pride. ?Sleep well, young ones, tomorrow is going to be a busy day.?

Meanwhile, Adam sat in the Initiative caves, his back turned to the intruder. ?I?ve been waiting for you, brother.?
?And now I?m here.? Riley Finn answered.
