okay. a couple of things.
1. willow was damn hot. gotta say i like ponytail willow anyway, 
but the clothes really did it for me last night.

2. with killing anya: is anyone else confused about why they had to 
actually kill her? cause i'm thinking back to "the wish" and how 
the giles in the alternate universe simply smashed anyanka's 
necklace, thus making everything revert to "normal" and taking away 
anyanka's powers and making her mortal. if they could do that 
in "the wish," why couldn't they do that in "selfless?" does it 
have something to do with the whole AU thing? would smashing her 
necklace not actually bring back all the dead frat boys b/c it 
WASN'T and AU? 

3. so vengeance demons have souls? i know there are demons that 
aren't BAD, necessarily, but i figured that the ones that were, that 
went around actually killing people, didn't actually have souls. 
but, apparently halfrek did indeed have a soul, as the price of 
taking back anya's wish/spell was "the soul and life of a vengeance 
demon."

other than that, i did enjoy the episode. i'm interested to see 
where they take willow's ability to control the black eyes and 
such. and someone pointed out that joss had said only the death of 
tara or harm to her could cause willow to go all evil so last night 
was diminishing that, but it's been pointed out by giles and willow 
that the magic, even the black magic, is part of her- she doesn't 
seem to need any huge event anymore. 

and i'll be interested to see if they address the whole willow not 
wanting angel dead thing or if they're just going to let it hang. i 
always wondered if willow and buffy ever talked about that, and i 
guess now i know that they didn't.
