Spoilers: I guess all of the shows this is A/U but some of it might come up.
Summery: Sequel to Wild one.

?Not that I?m not glad to see you again but what brings you to this part of 
the world? The last I heard you were in Africa somewhere?, Willow asked her 
ex. Buffy was surprised to hear that Willow had kept up on the whereabouts 
of her ex-girlfriend and tried hard to cover the jealousy she was feeling.
?What and miss the chance to meet the group who closed the last active 
Hellmouth, not to mention cut the demon and vamp population in half. My god 
women, you and Giles are legends. So when Sunnydale U offered me the chance 
to teach a history class this quarter, I jumped at the chance.? Willow 
blushed at being called a legend and laughed, ?Well we had a lot of help. 
Would you like to stay for dinner? The whole gang is supposed to be here in 
a little bit.?
?I wouldn?t want to impose. I just wanted to stop by and let you know that I 
am going to be in town for a while. I was hoping maybe we could have dinner 
sometime and catch up?, Kim asked and then turned to look at Buffy, ?Well if 
it?s ok with your girlfriend?. Buffy couldn?t help but notice a small smirk 
and something told her to say that there was no way in hell that Willow was 
going out alone with this woman but instead put a sickly sweet smile on and 
said, ?Sure anytime and please stay. I?m sure Willow would like to visit and 
Alex seemed to remember you.? Willow looked at Buffy and wondered where the 
jealousy was coming from, ?it?s not like her ex doesn?t come around all the 
time, and hell she?s here as much as I am?. Willow thoughts were interrupted 
by the door flying open and said ex and Faith where standing in the foyer.
?Hey Red, Buf, what?s up?, Faith asked, ?and who the hell are you??
?Faith Hon?, Tara started, ?Be nice?.
?Ok, I?m Faith, now who the hell are you??
?Faith, Tara, I would like you to meet Kim. Kim this is the Slayer and her 
girlfriend Tara.?
?Red, Kim as in girlfriend Kim, cause if it is all I can say is hot damn. 
Buf gotta say the competition is pretty hot.?
?Faith?, Tara yelled at her and then looked at Buffy searching her eyes for 
her feelings about this new development.
?Yes Faith but it is ex-girlfriend now. Now behave yourself before I kick 
your ass and you know I can do it.?
?Gottcha well it?s nice to meet ya. Where?s the rug rats I got something for 
them in the car.?
?There getting dressed and I think I?ll go give Anna a hand?, Buffy told the 
group. Willow led Kim, Faith and Tara out to the backyard so she could start 
the grill. Giles and Joyce showed up with Rupert Jr and Kim was busy bugging 
the older man, while Joyce and Tara talked with each other.
?So Red you going to patrol with me tonight. I got some info and I think I 
might need some help with it?, Faith asked, learning a long time ago that 
the red headed watcher was tougher then the slayer was, ?I might have slayer 
healing and strength but the girl could kick some ass.?
?Sure I could use a distraction?, Willow told her.
?Problems??
?Just a kid at the shelter has me worried. I wish I could help him but he is 
just messed up. He won?t get close to anyone, me included. I know what he 
feels and I just want to help him.?
?You know Red, you can?t save them all. Sometimes they?re going to get away. 
Doesn?t it bring up a lot of bad memories to help out there.?
?Sometimes, well most times but I help some of them and that makes it worth 
it. If I can make it easier for one kid then all the bad memories are worth 
it.?
?Well just remember that you did help one?, Faith said and pointed to Anna 
who came in with Dawn, Xander, Cordy and their daughter.
?Well it looks like we can get this party on the road. Angel and Anya said 
that they might come after sunset. Help me carry this food to the table.?


Tara was helping Buffy clean up the kitchen when she noticed Buffy staring 
out the kitchen window. Tara stood behind the retired slayer trying to see 
what had her so preoccupied. Tara saw Willow and Kim huddled together with 
Alex on Kim?s lap. The woman where listening to something the small child 
was saying and then started to laugh. Kim placed a kiss on Alex head and 
watched as Alex went to play with the other kids. Willow smiled at Kim and 
continued to laugh and talk. Buffy sighed and turned to talk to Tara, ?I 
have a bad feeling about that woman.?
?I thought things where going well for you and Willow. Are you fighting 
again?, Tara asked, knowing that sometimes that Buffy and Willow?s 
relationship could be rocky. Willow had spent more nights then she could 
count on the couch at her and Faith?s apartment. Willow could be difficult 
to live with sometimes. Tara knew that it was her upbringing that made 
Willow so explosive. Tara knew that Willow would never hurt Buffy or the 
kids, that she loved them with all her heart but she had seen her and Faith 
almost kill each other once.
?It has been, she has been so sweet the last couple of weeks but I have a 
feeling the other shoe is about to drop.?
?Buffy have you made any head way in getting her to see a counselor. I 
really think that she would benefit from it. I think she has a lot of anger 
still.?
?I know Tara but she refuses to admit it. What those asshole did to her may 
never leave her.? Buffy was about to say something else when the doorbell 
rang, ?Who could that be everyone is here.? Buffy opened the door to find 
Dave the director of the youth center that Willow helped at.
?Hey Buffy, I hate to bother you on a Saturday but is Willow here?, he 
asked. Buffy saw the sad look in his eyes.
?Yeah come on in. Willow?s out back, is this a private conversation or do 
you want to just go out back and talk??
?No I think private. Buffy, Joe the kid Willow has been trying to help the 
last couple of weeks killed himself last night.? Buffy lowered her head and 
in the distance she thought she heard the thud of the other shoe dropping.
