Actually, I heard conflicting stories about what Joss had planned for Tara's 
return. One item I read on Ain't It Cool News(which is still the ugliest 
website in the world!) suggested that the evil shape-changer that's been 
hanging around Sunnydale was going to assume the form of Tara, and try to 
entice Willow into reverting to the Dark Side. If that's the case, I don't 
blame Amber for not wanting to be part of it. Kinda derivitave of The First 
Evil impersonating Jenny in 'Amends'.

Of course, if they're going to have Tara tell Willow that it's okay to love 
again, all they'd have to do is have Willow converse with that blue 
Tinkerbell effect from 'Bargaining 2'. That'd work just as well, wouldn't 
it?
