Pairing: Willow/ Buffy
Spoilers: I guess all of the shows this is A/U but some of it might 
come up.
Summery: Sequel to Wild one.


Willow waited patiently in the waiting room of the ob/gyn office 
for Buffy to come out. She had an appointment in an hour with a 
therapist and wanted to see how things were going with her girlfriend 
and baby. She hadn't told Buffy about her AA meetings and the 
therapist yet she wanted to see where things were going to go before 
she got anyone's hopes up. The door opened and Buffy and Tara came 
out of the back office. Buffy didn't see her and was laughing at 
something that Tara was saying. Willow thought her Buffy was the most 
beautiful thing she had ever seen. She cleared her throat, "Buffy, 
how is everything going?" Tara looking between the two women 
said, "I'll wait outside in the car. Willow it's good to see you 
again." But Willow was so wrapped at looking at Buffy that all she 
could do was nod.
"Will, what are you doing here?"
"I had an appointment in the building and wanted to see if things 
were going ok with the baby and to ask if I could take the kids to 
the park and out to lunch on Saturday?"
"Everything is fine with the baby and yes you can take the kids 
anytime you want. I want you to take Faith with you though. I'm not 
going to fight with you but I'm not sure if I trust you to be alone 
and not drink." Willow tried hard not to show the hurt at Buffy words 
but they stung the red head, "I understand. Well I guess I'll better 
let you go. I'll see you on Saturday."
"Ok, take care of yourself, Will", Buffy told her and watched her 
walk off. She got into the van and put her head in her hands, "God 
why is it so hard to see her?"
"Because you love her and she loves you." Buffy snorted, "Yeah right, 
that's why she's living with that bitch Kim. I guess she didn't lie 
when she said she would take Willow back if she got half a chance." 
Tara hated to see her friend in so much pain but was unsure of how to 
help.



"I still don't know why I have to go, not that a day with the rug 
rats doesn't excite me but don't you think that Willow is perfectly 
capable of handling her own kids", Faith asked.
"Faith, hon, it doesn't have anything to do with if she can handle 
them. Buffy's just afraid that she'll drink or worse", Tara told her 
girlfriend. Buffy came down the steps carrying her four-year-old 
daughter and handed her to Tara along with her clothes. She caught 
Josh as he came running through the house. She got him dressed and 
sent him upstairs as Tara finished up Joy and sent her along with 
Josh. Faith looked between Tara and Buffy, "I don't think you guys 
have anything to worry about."
Buffy sighed, "Faith, she's living with Kim. She is moving on with 
her life. I have accepted that but I won't have her hurting the 
kids." Faith started to laugh and got a nasty look from Tara, "Hang 
on before you start shooting me with the death glare, baby. As far as 
Kim is concerned, you have no worries. Willow shot her down. Kim is 
seeing a really nice English lit professor. I like her and she seems 
to make Kim very happy. I think you guys might have jumped the gun a 
little early on her. Kim has a very good sense of humor and is a 
caring person. She's the one that got Willow to go to the?" Faith 
stopped and looked at the women sheepishly.
"Ok, spill it Faith", Tara said giving her the `talk or you won't be 
getting sex for a week' look. Buffy seeing the look smiled and sat 
down next to Faith, "Got her to go where?"
"Look I promised her I wouldn't tell you".
"Tell me, Faith", Buffy saw her hesitation, "Tara"
"Ok, god you people are evil. Willow's been going to AA meetings 
nightly and seeing a therapist once a week. She really is trying to 
get it back together." Buffy felt the tears form in her eyes, "Faith 
are you sure about this?"
"Yeah I went to one of the meetings with her. Don't tell her that you 
know because she didn't want anyone to know just yet."
"I won't. Thank you, I think you just made me the happiest woman 
alive"; Buffy said and got up trying to do a happy dance. Faith and 
Tara watched and giggled at the sight of the pregnant slayer dancing. 
Tara leaned in and whispered to her girlfriend, "I think I owe a 
whole day in bed tomorrow." Faith looked at the love in her eyes and 
thought, `No Buff, I think you got that wrong I'm happiest woman 
alive.' The doorbell rang and Buffy went to answer it. She was 
surprised to see Willow standing on the front porch looking 
uncomfortable.
"Will, you don't have to ring the doorbell, this is still your home."
"I know but I didn't want to barge in. Ah, Buffy I was wondering if 
you would like to go out tonight. I know it is short notice but there 
is somewhere I would like to take you."
"I would love to. Now why don't you take the kids to the park? They 
have been looking forward to this all week."
