Finally I reply to this ancient discussion, so no spacing needed for the
two-week-old ep.

Well, I knew they really couldn't kill her, although I'm glad that Buffy
at least tried. As for the "redeemable demon" stuff? Don't buy it, so
I'm not that upset by it. (Except as part of a longer trend.)

Hadn't really thought of it, since I was thinking of the implications of
her not chasing after the demon, but yeah, at least it's the first
positive magic she's done since "Wrecked". If they're going to reduce
her to magical plot device, at least she's on the right side.

For now, anyway. One of the annoying things about last year was that
they had Willow do a good job of "staying clean", and yet she still went
evil when the plot suited it. So now, I can't really trust in any
long-term trends they show us with Will, since they've proven that they
can jerk her around should the urge strike them. Omens not counting for
much, I'm afraid.
