Yeah it was mentioned a while back. I think even before Carson Daly. 
Anyway, apparently it's supposed to go into production early next year and 
come out in the summer. Hmm, one every other year LOL

As for the premise and nobody wanting to do it. I don't know if it was that 
or they just didn't feel the need for any of the other characters in it. 
Anyway, I love the American Pie franchise, definitely gonna make sure I see 
it :)
