Dory an others-

I'm really not trying to defend FF.net because I was pissed that they
took down 2 of my NC-17 stories, but:

THey announced on 9/12 that they were changing their policy to not
include NC-17 stories. They left the R-rated stories alone and
changed the menu to show only G-PG-13 stories whereas you have to
actively click on the R-rated menu to view choices.

They gave everyone a month to pull their stories off and went so far
as to empliment a download program for those people that wanted to
save copies.

It sucks, but it's a lot more than some site owners would do.
Normally I just see sites go poof. And it always comes down to it's
their site and they can do what they want. Our only recourse is to
not visit FF.Net until they rethink their policy.

Try some of the excellent sites that are listed in this list's Links
section, or Fandomnation.net as Kimber suggests. I've seen its
layout, and while it's not really to my tastes it's not too bad.
