OT: Glen Quin (Doyle) bad news

Glenn Quinn, the Irish actor who appeared in the first season of The
WB's Angel, died suddenly of undisclosed causes this week, a
spokesperson confirmed to SCI FI Wire. The spokesperson declined to
reveal details of Quinn's untimely passing until his family could
make arrangements for his funeral. He was 32.

Quinn played the regular character of half-demon Doyle in the 1999
premiere season of Angel, but his character was killed off and
replaced with Alexis Denisof's Wesley. At the time, series co-creator
Joss Whedon said that Doyle's abrupt departure had been part of the
show's plan from the beginning.

Quinn was born in Dublin, Ireland, and moved to the United States
with his mother and two sisters in 1988, according to the IMDB. Among
his various film and television roles, he is most recognized for his
Angel role and for playing Becky's husband, Mark, on TV's Roseanne.
