Two things, Dan;
1) The decline and fall of Gargoyles can be traced to Disney's acquisition of
ABC. When Gargoyles moved from syndication to ABC Saturdays, the PTB decided
to go for self-contained episodes instead of the lengthy story arcs that they
had done before. Unfortunately, the self-contained eps kinda destroyed the
show's momentum(not to mention stalling the Goliath/Elisa relationship deader
than a staked vamp!), plus after the first ep on ABC, Greg Weisman(I
mispelled him in the first post) was let go. Gargoyles didn't survive after
that.
2) Might I suggest listening to some Van Morrison? Especially 'Into the
Mystic', 'Wavelength' and 'The Dark Side of the Road'. Just might do
something about your bitterness, at least keep it confined to the current
trend toward Spuffiness, where it belongs.
