"No, Cordy. But I'll call if he shows up. Ok. Bye." Buffy looks over at thetopic of her ended-conversation, to see him placing a cool cloth on Willow's forehead. She had come around shortly after Buffy had opened the door for Angel, first making sure he wasn't evil. "You want to explain to me why Ijust lied to your seer?" a blonde eyebrow rises over her eye, in a questioning manner, her voice somewhat tight, a sense of jealousy running over herat seeing Angel carefully place the wet cloth on her best friend's forehead. The tone didn't get by Angel. He looks up from Willow, to respond to hisex-lover. She doesn't sound to happy with him and was it his imagination or was Buffy really put-off at his close proximity with Willow. Willow, who was awake, immediately picks up on the blonde's mood. Apparently even her ex's near me makes her jealous, Willow proudly thinks. Then, getting in a sitting position, looks over at Buffy.
"Why don't I make some tea."
"No. You just fainted. You're resting that's that. You.." pointing a fingerat the vampire, "..aren't getting anything to drink, eat..till you tell mewhat the Hell is going on." The Slayer was in charge now. And no one wouldargue with her.

"From the top? Well let's see...back before you died; Darla, after getting turned by Drucilla, and I had sex. I had an epiphany. And then she got pregnant. In order for the baby to live she killed herself. Allowing the baby, my son, to be born-human. An enemy from my past time as Angelus was broughtforth by some demon through time travel/time warp, to try and kill me. He took my son, Conner, through some time hole and is now dead." Buffy's thoughts whips though her head, Darla?! Human?! Turned?! Vampire?! Back?! Baby?!.

"You didn't lose your soul with Darla?" Willow asks. Unsure she wants to hear the response.

"I guess having sex can cause an epiphany, too. Not just trying to kill your friends." Buffy mutters.

"What?!" Willow questions, looking concerned again.

Angel, meanwhile, had over heard what Buffy had said due to his vampire hearing. He slowly smiles, softly. "Yeah. Aren't epiphany's great."

"So. You had a son. And he's gone?" Buffy inquires, not sure where she fitsin all of this. "And good point Willow. You didn't lose your soul?"

"Yeah. Buffy. I guess your the only.." Angel shakes his head, "..Conner. was-IS amazing!.." The vampire now has gotten up from the couch, walking toward Buffy. " He was human. Living. Breathing. I never thought... I.. He had ten toes and ten fingers..I could.." Suddenly Angel drops to his knees in front of Buffy, taking her into his arms, mimicking the hold he had on her shortly after rescuing her from the Jeckell and Hyde boy who almost killed her. Buffy sighs, Can this get anymore complicated? At this action Willow straightens herself, looking about ready to bolt form her place on the couch.Will I'll be doomed to watch these two forever? Willow thinks dejectedly, suddenly remembering, the entire night's conversation between her and Buffy, He Better Get His Hands Off My Slayer!

"Angel. I'm sorry. Really. But. I'm not sure what I can do to help." Buffy kneels down to look the vampire in his soulful brown eyes, "I mean, I thinkCordy & Wes would have a better idea...or empathy than me."

Angel sighs. "Wes was the one that gave Conner to that bastard. I don't know.."

"Angel. Wait. Wes? I...What the Hell? And I thought having sex with Spike was confusing!" The words left her mouth before her brain registered them. And quickly , Angel's face turned from confusion to shock. Willow's face immediately turns shocked, Well at least I didn't get bowled over with it likethat! Angel pulls back from Buffy, falling on his butt in the process. "Wha..What!? Spike?! My Childe?!"

"OK! Wait! Sorry this is not about that. This is about you and your child that you managed to conceive as a vampire with another vampire, who was-lastI checked-in the staked column!" Buffy finishes, not really ready to deal with another emotional ordeal. Willow and herself was having a wonderful time and now this? What was it anyway? Was March the month all her ex's were going to show up? Who next? Pike from LA? Buffy shivers at that thought, quickly casting a glance at Willow. Who for the most part looked..Oh shit! She was mad. Damn she's hot when she looks like that!

"Will.."

"Look. Angel, here why don't you sit down over on the couch" Away from Buffy, she thinks. "And we can discuss how WE can help, if WE can." Willow stands, taking Angel by the arm, practically dragging him by the arm, not really given the fallen vampire a time to get up. Buffy carefully looks over Willow, If she wasn't mistaken, Willow was jealous. But...she never said...shenever got the chance either.. Buffy frowns, making sure Angel gets on the couch.

"I just need some space, time." Angel's head is hung low not able to look at Buffy. He wouldn't argue with her about Spike right now, cause there was something more going on then just that.

"Ok. Well you can stay here if you want. Everyone does." Buffy says trying to be a good ex-girlfriend as well as a good friend.

"He can?!" Willow blurts out, which immediately causes her to blush. Buffy raises an eyebrow at the red head.

"Yes. In the basement. All the rooms are kind of..non-dust proof."

"oh." Willow says, seeming disappointed and let down. Angel. Of course, always has to be Angel. Humph! Her thoughts causing Willow to fume. "I'm goingto bed." Willow says shakily. She no longer wants to be in the same room as the blonde and the vampire. What had turned originally into a night of complete surprise--Buffy in love with her, quickly turns into one of utter disappointment, cause no matter what. Angel would always be first love and always come first. Before Buffy can respond, the red head is up the stairs. Buffy sighs. This is going to be a long night.
