OT: BRUTAL C&C is online.

Greetings,

Those of you who know me know I'm a bit of a stickler for improving writing,
both of others and my own. Taking the bull by the horns a new list has been
created. 

We call it BRUTAL. 

A Description.

Brutal C & C      

This is a list a for all Female slash fanfiction writers. The purpose of the
list is to help all writers improve in the craft of storytelling. All
writers are welcome, beginning to professional, come one and all. BRUTAL is
an open forum where femslash writers, of any caliber, may post fiction from
any genre. The one thing in common that they must all hold is they are seeking
Critique. 


C&C is the abbreviated term for Comment And Critique. This involves going
through posted works line by line, pointing out weaknesses in plot, style and
even spelling and grammar if that's what the C&C'er wishes to do. The C&C'er
must also include, with his critique, possible changes and/or suggestions to
correct the perceived flaw. 


That is the Critique part of C&C. The Comment aspect deals with the C&Cer also
pointing out the good parts and WHY they're good. 


Here, on BRUTAL, anyone may C&C any fic by anyone else. However even Proper
C&C has rules. These are below. 


There are some simple rules to go by: 



1) No flames, name calling, or personal attacks for any reasons. 
2) If you don't know how to fix it then don't criticize it. 
3) If you do know how to fix it then its your job to criticize it. 
4) Should an author believe some received C&C breaks the rules it should be
reported to a Moderator. The Moderator will examine the C&C and decide. That
decision is final. 


So if you're intrested in having people work your fanfics over and assist in
actually making it better take a look at BRUTAL.

We're nice, but more importantly we're honest.
