Ok, I just got Buffy season 3 on DVD and I am watching both 'Bad
Girls' and 'Consequences'.

In the episode 'Bad Girls' Willow quips at the beginning how they
need to do more socializing with Faith, to make her feel more
comfortable with them. Then later in the same episode, she feels
dejected that Buffy and Faith want to go patrolling together and
without her.

Later in 'Consequences' Willow talks with Buffy about feeling like
she's not part of the whole slayer club thing.

Ok, so now on to the FIC challenge.

1- Hook Buffy and Willow up during that period of time where Willow
and Oz were estranged. That being the reason for Willow's jealousy
over the Slayers' time together.

2- Most of it must be in the 'deleted scenes' category. Not
interfering with what was shown at the time.

3- The ending should be A/U and a happy ending

4- I prefer total sappiness and love, but am not opposed to smut as
long as it involves a storyline. Pointless smut should be excluded.

So, any takers?????

[Moderator's notes: I changed the subject line because this was originally listed as "OT". In fact, Buffy/Willow FIC challenges are perfectly on-topic, every bit as much as the fics they (hopefully) generate, and the feedback such fics (darn well better!) receive.

Canon point: Willow's suggestion of being better friends with Faith actually occurs in the teaser of "The Wish". Which is actually during the W/O breakup, so?challenge variant!?maybe Buffy gets worried about Willow hooking up with Faith (Will did pretty much drool all over Faith in "Faith, Hope and Trick") and that gets Buffy moving on declaring her own love for the redhead?

Thanks for the challenge!

[Yes, Dan. Phone service (and thus the 'net) **finally** working again. Or as Angel says in "Innocence":

"Yeah, baby. I'm back." Miss me?]
