Really, I wasn't doing the "let's you and him fight" thing :) I figured
that it was just a good-natured dig at Kirayoshi's scene and the
"insult" (I might not have used that word myself, but the quote just
sprung to mind) was directed towards the staff, mocking their work for
having reached the status of "something to be avoided at all costs".
Since just a year and half ago I was telling anyone who would listen
that BtVS was the best show on TV, I found the fact that the ME writing
staff can now be used as an example of How NOT To Write rather darkly
humorous. Should have made that clearer, I guess :)

Of course, I could have it entirely wrong again, and you weren't zinging
ME, either :) But that's what I took from your post, so that's what I
responded to :)
