Re: OT: Question of plagurism
Hi Kimber,
I haven't read your fics (shame on me) but the first
Gatekeepr book (Out of the Madhouse) is copyright
1999. Which means it was probably released late 1999
or 2000. Which clears you. :) (Not that any of us
doubted you)
As for the trilogy ...
There's this semi-immortal guy, the gatekeeper
(Regnier). There've been three since the need for a
Gatekeeper was established- 1500's or so. He has a
house in Boston and there he keeps various nasties of
mythical or supernatural form. IE- some zombies, some
mean fairies, etc. He keeps them each in a different
room.
However, he's getting old and his long time nemesis
(Maestro Fulcanelli) kidnaps his son/heir. So because
his son can't take over ('cause he's missing), the
House begins to deteriorate, though Regnier tries to
keep things together.
Well, one thing leads to another and guess where they
end up? Sunnydale. So Buffy and company decide to
fight-- to get to where they need to go -- and so
Angel can go too, the supernatural people of their
party (Buffy, Angel, Oz) can take the Ghostroads--
roads where the ghosts are. (duh)
There are also some of Fulcanelli's minions- the Sons
of Entropy, who're human and try to interrupt things,
kidnapping Buffy's mom, trying to kill everybody, etc.
This isn't a very detailed summary, but I haven't read
them in a while.
Does this help?
