Caught up with this one while I was hunting the back parts of Matthias's fi=
c. Jeez, you weren't kidding about the major angst, were you?  

(And what the heck is going on, these days, with all the fics that kill Buf=
fy or Willow or both? Are writers reacting badly to the thought that this m=
ight be the last season, or the fact that Spuffy Forever now looks inevitabl=
e, or is it just a coincidence?)

Both the setup (Willow going on patrol with Buffy just to have more time to=
hold hands) and the fight choreography felt very real. As did the end, sadl=
y. Since the end seems to imply that Buffy will kill herself to join Will i=
n death, I find myself hoping she took the time to write a note, but I'm sti=
ll moved.

PS--about the rating, I think it's gory enough to qualify as "R", but that's=
