I guess I need the Spoiler Space you didn't have to use.


Yeah, I should have known it was doomed when I wanted to keep watching
my "Angel" DVDs instead. Heck, I wanted to watch "Lonely Hearts"
("Angel" ep 1.2)--and I remember "Lonely Hearts"! I HATED "Lonely
Hearts"! (It's the one with the crying idiots who used to be in the
opening credits) After "Lonely Hearts" I stopped watching "Angel",
until I came back for "I Will Remember You", and I wasn't back full time
until Wesley showed up.

But, even with that, even though "Potential" and "The Killer In Me" were
two of my favorite three eps of the season, I just had a feeling of
imminent disaster. Oh boy, was I right.

And I never thought I could see something that annoyed me more than
Spuffy and Andrew-Redemption [Hallelujah!] in the same ep, but that bit
where Buffy has no idea what being on the Hellmouth is like for
Principal Wood just grated my cheese. There never was a library, Buffy
never lived her life there, it was never the gang's metaphorical
home...gods, that makes me so angry.

Oh, well, I guess it just makes it that much easier to believe that
these aren't the same characters from the earlier seasons. They all had
too much chocolate one night after Gradualtion, and all of this is a bad
dream...
