Ever since the infamous ?Heidi game?, Sports have received top priority.
In 1968, NBC was showing the Jets-Raiders AFL game in Oakland. With a
little over a minute in the game, the Jets had a three point lead. They
went to commercial and started Heidi when they came back thinking that
the lead was safe with so little time. But the Raiders got two more
touchdowns to win the game. NBC got so many calls they ended up
apologizing. Since then, they don?t break away from games unless it?s a
HUGE lead with only a few seconds left. But that sucks that they didn?t
show the episode at all even though they said they would. It was a
fairly good setup for the final two. I highly suggest downloading it.
