My fault - I should have explained that but i did not. Yes, it is AU. I had to play fast and loose with timelines in order to get the situation I wanted Dakota to walk into.

The only thing is that Anya does not have the shop to herself - she still works there for Giles.

What makes me wonder is WHEN is that actually set? Maybe I missed it but I didn't spot a reference in the header and facts sort of don't add up.
