So let's see, Spike has not only effectively stolen Angel's true love, he has now stolen his hope of ever being human by being the subject of the Sanshu prophecy. The very driving force of the character since the end of Season One! The only way this would work is if Spike does a Faith and decides to turn evil!

I've heard recurring rumors that SMG wants to put as much distance between herself and BtVS as possible, so I suspect the odds of her appearing on Angel are between slim and none. But if she does, I hope and pray she shows up with a significant other(preferably a redhead but I doubt that will happen). At least show that Buffy has gone on with her life post-Sunnydale!
