Re: [Re: Something I've noticed: A Mad-Hamlet Rant]

Greetings,

>>Once again, i didn't say you have to be a lesbian to write about it,
i say you should know about the things you write first!

Oh well, that makes a whole boatload of sen- THE HELL?!

Excuse me Ma'am but no it certainly does not!

No writer on the Earth is going think, 'I know nothing about quantum
dimensional mathetmatics so I've going to write a book on them.'

The actual thought process is more along the lines, 'I think I know about
Topic Whatever and will write a story about it.'

Now from this there can be only a handful of responses from various readers.

READER A: This story was great.

READER B: This story sucked.

READER C: I don't care about this story, what's on Baywatch?

So, I reitierate, no author would willingly go and attempt to write a story
about a subject they don't know anything about consiously. There are certainly
many cases bearing evidence where the author obviously did not know enough
regarding their chosen topic in the story, or anything at all. But they never,
in actuality, believed they didn't know anything.

So once again we are brough back to your, now updated, statement and we have
proven, once again, that it is entirely redundant!

I could repeat, even with the changes you've made, that by your self same
logic you should not be using the English language as you do not have perfect
control over it. However I am not, as before, taking that stance as it would
be both stupid and probably overly rude. I am however, willing to blow holes
in your logic big enough to drive the Space Shuttle through.

>>i wasn't saying anything to you or your penis!

Are you being sexually discramtory towards my Penis?

I'm going to sue!!

The sad thing is there are probably lawyers on this earth who'd seriously
consider taking such a case.

>>so...i can't see why the h*** you are so mad!

Uh...'Mad-Hamlet'. <----It's plainly labled.

No. I jest. I'm not angry at all.

I am, at best, amused and with that amusement comes the urge to add my own
point of view. Having a decent mind, good vocabulary and mastered the fine art
of 'Fierce Speaking' others can, occasioly believe that I am for some reason
infuriated when in truth I am, for the most part, smirking.

>>...if SUPPOSEDLY you don't care!...

I don't care. As mentioned this is more done for amusement than anything else.

I should elaborate.

I do care about the idea being expressed here and I consider it probably one
of the most dangerous things I've seen in the community since the B/S declared
open season on my work.

I care about being clear, to the point and having a good time in the doing of
it too. What I don't care about is how others react to it outside a set of
very specific parameters; those being ones where people react by being all
insulted, horrified, offended or whatever. Any factors wasting my time with
such panache are dismissed out of hand.

WOMAN: I did not come here to be insulted.

GROUCHO MARX: Where do you usually go to be insulted?

I am, at best, honest. True what I have to say is barbed with envenomed wit
and induendo but there is no actual malice involved therefore should anyone
actually step foward and state clearly for the record that they were offended
that's where my 'I don't care' stance kicks into high gear.

I said as much at the opening of my original rant. It says I don't care if
anyone found the rant offensive. It said nothing about the values of care, be
they positive or negative, that I had placed on the actual issue at hand.

>>Bye...love!

Does that include love for my penis?

I remain, as always,
Mad-Hamlet
