Let's elaborate on that, many GOOD writers employ them(I even offer dental)
and ALL proffesional writers do.

Yes it is, but be very clear on the choice you are making. The choice is not
whether to deal with the hassle of a beta-reader, but rather whether you want
be a good writer, or a great writer.

I, personally now, have never, ever seen a great writer who did not used beta
readers. On the other hand I've seen thousands of good writers who didn't use
beta readers.

Hmmmmm....
