RE: OT: Aly hosts "Smash"!

Too late for anyone but my fellow Left Coast-ers, but Aly's hosting
"Smash", the WB's concert series, as we speak. (Okay, there's a
corporate name in the series title, too, but I don't pimp unless I'm
getting paid.)

She looks cute. And the Earth rotated today, too. :)

Actually she was on against herself. Tonight on FX, she and Jason Biggs hosted a special broacast of "American Pie", with additional behind the scenes footage and, of course, a plug for "American Wedding". Personally, Aly was the one thing I liked about the original movie. I guess that kind of humor leaves me cold usually. Oh well, to each his own.

Meanwhile, ABC Family is plugging a made-for-TV romantic comedy called "See Jane Date", starring Charisma Carpenter, Holly Marie Coombs(Piper from "Charmed") and Evan "Joe Millionaire" Marriot. Charisma plays a struggling single woman who tries to find a date to take to her sister's(Holly) wedding. Another giant step backwards for the woman's movement.
