Thanks for not leaving us hanging on the conclusion of this story. Nice start, and a bit of anxiety coming from Xander was a nice touch. I always thought he may have it in him to make the tough choices if he needed to but since Giles and Buffy never made him make those choices he was able to join in the fight but also be able to coast along. Not to say that he wasn’t emotionally affected just like every one else, but he didn’t need to be strong when he just wanted to break down, like the others have had to do at one time or another. He was always spared that.
