Dan,

I had assumed you had read all of chapter 3 (it is complete) - after
posting the first section and seeing the formatting not coming through
(I use italics for thoughts) I posted a link to the whole story

my comments refering to chapter 4 were some foreshaddowing and hinting
that I do have ideas for the next chapter (it is NOT written) and I
hope to be quicker than my last lag (no guarantees - but hope springs
eternal) between updates - still shooting for early January 2004 for
Chapter 4
