One assumes by "her" that you mean Buffy. It was her
19th birthday to be exact. 

Her 16th birthday happened before Season 1 started
(Note: Season 1 was really half a season and took
place in 1997 (According to Nightmares))
And her 17th birthday was during "Surprise" in Season
2 

And we all know what happened on her 18th birthday in
"Helpless" in Season 3

Buffy's 20th birthday happens around "Blood Ties"
in Season 5.

Buffy's 21st birthday happens during "Older and Far
Away" during Season 6.

Not sure what happened for her 22nd birthday. Don't
see any references to it.

For other birthday events: 

We know something about Xander's 6th (Season 1
Nightmares?)) & 7th (Season 5 The Replacement)
birthdays 

Tara's 20th birthday happens in "Family" in Season 5
which was October 16th (According to her tombstone in
Season 7 she was born in 1980) and Buffy's 20th
birthday is in January so Buffy would have been born
in 1981. 

Several rather roundabout way to get there.

I don't see any references to Willow's birthday
anywhere other than Amy telling her it's her birthday
and Willow denying it during some episode in season 6.


In Season 5 We find out that Dawn's 10th birthday was
right after the Summers women moved to Sunnydale (Or
so Dawn thinks) - Not sure how that affects things
since season 1 happened after Buffy's 16th birthday
but Dawn was 17 in Season 6 by the time the musical
happened... so she should have been 11 instead of 10.
Once again confirming that Joss is not good with the
math.

None of which tells us how old Willow is. Darn.

(Yup, instead of doing my bit to write B/W fics I've
been cruising the transcripts looking for the word
"birthday". )
