Repost: Arguments Aren't Always A Bad Thing

AUTHOR: Megan
RATING: 18
PAIRING: Buffy/Willow
DISCLAIMER: These characters are not mine. They belong to... well, you know all that. FEEDBACK: Please. It would help if I know what I'm doing right or wrong. NOTES: First fic I've written. Basically plotless. If you think this is ok let me know if I should write something with a point to it. Mid season 6. Buffy catches Willow on her way to Rack's.
This should be more readable :)

ARGUMENTS AREN'T ALWAYS A BAD THING

She saw a thin, dark figure round a corner. Wearing a simple, red cotton top, jeans and sneakers, it was hardly dressed for the weather. The rain started lightly patting on Buffy's cheek. The figure, a girl, walked with a determination - she had somewhere to go, somewhere she needed to be - her hair flowed behind her delicate shoulders. Buffy knew it was Willow. She didn't know anyone else who could turn a resolve face into a walk when they wanted to.
But this was hardly a time for humour. Mentally chiding herself,
Buffy took off at a run to catch up. She knew why Willow was wearing
the resolve face, she knew why she was in the bad part of town, and
she knew which magically sheilded dive she was headed to.
"Willow stop." She caught the redhead on the shoulder and she spun
around.
"Buffy?" The witch looked confused. "Buffy, what are you doing?"

"I think we both know I should be asking that question." The slayer never could control the smartass in her.
"What?" Again with the faux-confusion.

"Will," Buffy almost shouted, patience not a strong point, "you can't pretend you're not going anywhere. I can see the way you're walking."
"Buffy, I'm not going anywhere I'm jus-"

"I know where you're going."

Willow stumbled a bit even though she wasn't walking. She felt a bit of fire well in the pit of her stomach. It was either nausea or anger, most probably the latter but she wasn't sure. Willow, in general, was not an angry person. She was all about the emotional control. Keeping them hidden, governed. That's how magick works, the draw back being, obviously, that if you lost control, you lost the hold over the magicks.
Still, the pit of nausea/anger kept growing as Buffy stared at her.

The rain started a little harder. She could hear it battering on the metal car roofs. Large, heavy rops. Thunder echoed faintly in the background and she could feel the hair on the nape of her neck stand up.
She tried to laugh it off. "Buffy, don't worry, I'm not gonna be
doing anything th-"
"Willow, you don't get it!" the slayer exclaimed. "I know! I know
where you've been going. I know about Rack."
The witch's eyes became visibly cold. Frighteningly so.

"How? How do you know about Rack?" She inched closer to Buffy almost intimidating the blond. "How could you possibly know?" Standing, she peered down at her friend, her acute mind running over all the ways in which Buffy could find out something like this so soon. Willow knew that she kept mainly to the cemeteries on her patrol, rarely skipping into the 'ghetto'. She'd tagged along on enough of them. Plus, Rack's place always moved. Unless Buffy actually physically walked into it, which would result in no Rack, the only other possibility could be-
"Spike." Stated Buffy.

Ah.

"Ah." Willow felt a sadistic grin play across her lips.

Lack of magicks and fun makes Will a bad girl. "Spike." She began her inching again, this time intentionally trying to intimidate the slayer. "The new playpiece."
Buffy's eyes narrowed. She'd never heard Willow say anything
remotely like that before. Ever. It wasn't necessarily harsh, but
the implications behind the word were uncharacteristically callous.
Her Willow was calm, and quiet, and giving, and warm. The look in
this Willow's eyes was cruel, and cold, and empty. Not many things
frightened the slayer. But this was one of them. Losing her friends.
And she could see the Willow she knew was slipping away.

"You think you know? I know." Willow continued. "I know what happened at the abandoned warehouse. I know why Spike camps out by the tree at our house. He's waiting for you to decide when you want another piece. What happened to you Buffy?"
"What?" Buffy's disbelief was evident on her young features. This
was new.
"Since when did you become a slut?"

The slayers eyes shot open. "What?"

"Was it always there or did ya just, y'know, pick it up from your little 'encounter' with Angel? How old were you then? 14? 15?"
"16." The slayer admitted, eyes downcast. A knot formed in her
stomach.
"And then Riley. Did you actually even listen to a word he said?"

"Yes." The slayer shifted on her feet. She nearly physically threw up. In all her life, Buffy hadn't found anything more important than her mother, sister and friends, and she knew that, eventually, everything she did came down to them. She did it for them.
When your best and most trusted friend throws your paranoia in your
face, hope wains and falls into a dark pit of dispair. The acidity
behind Willow's words only added to the despair.
"I don't think we even NEED to touch on the Parker thing." Willow
snickered. "That one's WAY too easy."
She waited for Buffy to say something. Then, sensing she had won,
turned and continued her path to Rack's.
"Willow. What you're doing is wrong." Buffy called softly after her.

"WRONG!?" The redhead swivelled the 180 with a vengeance. "How can you tell me that what I'm doing is wrong!?" Definately anger down there.
The thunder rumbled overhead. The storm had moved over Sunnydale,
static energy filling the air, almost visible under the harsh
streetlights. The rain bounced off the concrete of the roads,
competing with the anger of the thunder, answering back.
"Because you're destroying yourself!" Buffy shouted, speedwalking up
to her friend.
"Yes, I'm the only one at fault here Buffy. You have every right to
be chastising me! I'm not doing wholesome recreational things like
you!"

"Willow, I don't even know you anymore!"

"I'm not surprised! Maybe if you didn't spend so much time fucking Spike you'd know me a bit better, maybe even care ab--"
Before the sentence was finished, Willow felt herself being crushed
against a cold brick wall, the cement grazing through the cotton
into the fine skin on her back.
"Don't you EVER say I don't care about you! You're the reason I keep
fighting this fucking war! You're reason I'm alive and the reason I
stayed here! I couldn't care about anything else MORE!" The
vehemence in Buffy's words was answered by the thunder that growled
at the two girls. The rain continued to pour over their bodies, now
soaked through.
Buffy loosened her grip on Willow. She knew she wouldn't hurt her.
Couldn't. Since day one, it had always been Willow. She just didn't
know it. Didn't want to. Her life was complicated enough as it was
without adding anything else to the list, espacially not another
social handicap. One handicap was being a woman, not to mention
slayer. How much of one would be being a woman who likes women be?
Buffy was a rash person. Do then think. Part and parcel of being a
slayer. But this one she had to think about, and ended up regretting
the decision she had made all those years ago. Regretting not openly
loving the only person who made her tingle, the only person who was
there time and time again. If only she had gone with the impulse.
The thunder grew louder again in anticipation. The rain fell heavily
from the great, grey clouds.
Willow stared at Buffy. Her wet hair clung to her face, and despite
the water falling into her hazel eyes, she kept them fixed on
Willow's. The green eyed redhead, despite having been a lesbian for
nearly 2 years, had never thought of Buffy as a potential before. It
was strictly a best friend relationship. But seeing her like this,
so powerful, glowing through the rain, wet from head to toe, she
couldn't help but wonder, couldn't stop herself...
Tentatively, she leaned over and met Buffy's lips halfway. New
territory for them both, the kiss was hesitant and imperfect. As it
grew in passion, Willow felt the restraint of Buffy's arm move and,
almost instantly, felt a hand on her cheek warming it through the
cold rain. Her own hands instictively held Buffy's waist, one hand
wandering over the taught abdomen of her best friend, her thumb
making it's way under her black shirt. She felt Buffy's hand run
down her neck, pulling the rain with it, onto her sodden shoulder.
Mutually, they stopped kissing and rested against each other, Buffy
gripping Willow's shoulders, Willow firmly holding Buffy to her by
the waist.
The slayer raised her eyes to her best friend's. The storm raged
around them, their heavy breathing matched the thunder's bellowing,
blowing clouds of moisture, powering the rain. There had always been
a connection between Buffy and WIllow and now was no different. Each
new what the other wanted, and neither could deny it. The knot in
Buffy's stomach turned and weakened her at the knees. Willow's anger
had been replaced with want, pure and unrefined want.
"I want." She uttered and took Buffy's lips with her own, this time,
no longer soft and uncertain, the kiss bruising. Buffy felt herself
being switched positions, her back pushing against the wall as
Willow nipped at her mouth, sucking on her lower lip. She groaned
lowly wondering why the hell she ever decided to think over that
decision. The witch growled with the thunder and withdrew from
Buffy's lips, an unrestrained lust filled the depths of her eyes as
a predatory grin spread across her face. She licked the rain from
around her lips and started undoing the buttons of the black shirt
as she attcked Buffy's neck.
Buffy ran her hands quickly down Willow's subtle curves to the
bottom of her top, feeling the gentle pull at her pulse point. She
thanked whichever power existing that created walls for having one
here to hold her up. Her knees were ready to give way. Reaching the
hem she hooked her fingers under the red and pulled it up. Willow
straightened for a second to allow this undress and went straight
back to work.
Two buttons later and Buffy was down to her bra. She remained
against the wall, not caring if the liquid she felt trickling down
her back was blood or rain, pushing back, body arching at the
onslaught of stimuli. WIllow in jeans and bra, cold rain falling on
her extremely heated body, Willow kissing her way down her water-
soaked chest whilst unclasping her undergarment, Willow ridding
herself of her own fabric confines.
3 out of 4 stimuli began with Willow, and God, it was easy to see
why. Buffy felt herself being caught in another searing, white-hot
kiss with the redhead, and a leg grinding into her groin. It wasn't
beautiful and passionate in the way you would see as beautiful and
passionate. There was no music, no candlelight, no heavy history
weighing on them. There was intense fire. There was a craving to be
as close as possible to the other person. There was an emotional
connection that transcended that of normal lovers. Love was tainted
and biased. This was the explosion that had been waiting to happen
after six years of sexual tension. It was clean and pure and
complete.
As well as being dirty as hell.

The thunder rattled aloud overhead, clapping them on, watching as the rain caressed their bodies at the same speed as they did each other.
Thumbing the areola around Buffy's hard nipple, the witch took it
into her mouth, nipping and sucking while she roughly kneaded the
other, knowing Buffy wouldn't feel the pain, just the pleasure.
Buffy had given the control over to Willow - she knew what she was
doing. Not that Buffy couldn't adapt herself to sex with Willow, she
could. She figured she knew which buttons to press. But every now
and again, if you're the one who has to make the world saving
decisions and take control, it's nice to give it up to someone
else...
Buffy ran her calloused hands over Willow's shoulders and down her
back, scraping her short-cut nails over her lower back causing the
girl to shudder and inhale sharply. She trailed her hand around the
taller girls' ass and round the front to her jeans.
Willow pulled herself away from Buffy's perfect breasts and back to
her perfect lips. How could she not have seen this before? She could
feel the slayer's fingers pulling on the buttons of her jeans,
scraping down the fly. The vibrations against her centre added to
the hot wetness between her legs. She hastily began unbuttoning
Buffy's pants, clearing it in record time. Goddess, how she wanted
her. Pressing hard kisses against the blond's jawline, she reached
into Buffy's panties searching through the neat curls for the heat
she wanted to find, tweaking a nipple under the layer of rain to
make it hotter.
Finding it, she pressed her finger against Buffy's sex causing the
slayer to gasp into Willow's mouth. Not one to be outdone, it wasn't
long before Willow gasped herself, feeling Buffy's searching digits
rummaging around the lips of her pussy. Starting up a soft rhythm,
the witch ran her experienced fingers up and down the slayer's
centre, coating the tips of them with liquid heat. She felt Buffy do
the same and ground her hips onto the blond's hand, begging for
something more, craving the release. It had been so long since
Willow felt this need so badly...
Their bodies melded together as they moved like some twisted form of
dancing. It wasn't long before the soft rhythm Willow had set became
hard and rough on the side of both parties. Buffy could feel the
witch's nails scrape along the walls if her cunt as she pressed her
fingers in and out, maybe drawing blood, biting down on her nipples.
The slayer convulsed again. Willow really knew what she was doing.
The wall was beginning to cut into her back, there would be graze-
shaped souvenirs in the morning.

Willow restarted her hard kisses with a grin. She would make Buffy remember this, want this, beg for this again. She felt Buffy thumb her clit, making her push harder into the slayer. She needed this. She moaned onto the slayer's battling tongue, biting down on it to increase the pressure she knew was building between the smaller girl's thighs. The rain crashed down on the two, cold as the night air, as they pressed into each other in the darkness. Willow increased the speed of her fingers, pumping in and out of Buffy hard and fast, and wrapping a protective leg around her friend's. Buffy's head rolled back and hit the wall. She was so close. So close so soon. This would not be one sided. If this got to Buffy so quickly, Willow would be coming with her. The girl in question was suckling at Buffy's neck again, never taking her attention from the slayer, even though the wind was blowing them into a shiver. She could feel Buffy trembling against every part of her body, the contrast of ice and heat bringing them ever closer to climax.
"Willow. Please," she felt breathed into her ear. "Please," Buffy
begged, and bit on the redhead's ear. Hearing the plea, Willow
brought her thumb to Buffy's clit as she felt her mouth being
claimed by her friend again and rubbed at the same pace as Buffy,
still fingering her.
Then, biting hard on Willow's bottom lip, Buffy scraped the witch's
clit with her nail and felt Willow shake into her, her muscles
spasming around her fingers, sending Buffy herself over the edge.
"Buffy," Willow cried through clenched teeth and held breath. She
opened her eyes to see the slayer's face contorted with pleasure,
tearing up in the rain. The thunder boomed with their climax and
lightning flashed, a fork of light in the familiar night.
Her chest heaving, Willow withdrew her fingers from inside Buffy and
brought her hand up between the two them, waiting for Buffy's half-
open eyes to watch her. Sure that she had the blond's attention, she
extended her tongue and tasted essence of Buffy. Sweet and creamy.
She cleaned the rest off, wiped away the drops of rain from Buffy's
eyes and kissed her again, this time chaste.
They stood facing one another, waiting for someone to say something.
Slowly, Buffy's mouth curled into a warm smile.
"So what now?" she asked softly, searching her best friend's eyes.

Willow sighed contentedly and kissed Buffy's forehead.

"Let's just go home."

They got dressed and headed back to 1630 Revello Drive, hand in hand amid the calming storm.
"We should argue more often."

-END-

Willow: "It's a good fight, Buffy, and I want in."
Buffy: "I kinda love you."
