Hi, Cas!  Nice to see you haven't been totally enveloped by AMC :)

Interesting challenge.  The one that sprung to my mind (although Lord
knows if I'll do anything with it) was "Notting Hill", with Willow as
the bookseller with the quiet life, and Buffy as the world-famous slayer
who comes to town.  Faith as the appalling roommate, Dawn as the pesty
sister, Xander as the restauranteur (with poor Cordy as the paraplegic
wife), and you can have your pick of four candidates for the arrogant
jackass boyfriend that Buffy doesn't really love <EG>.  (Well, I guess
Parker wouldn't fit in with the Slayer-as-celebrity idea, but the others
would work.  Plus, Alec Baldwin only had nighttime scenes, so no problem
with him as a vamp!)

Cool idea, and let's hope we get some good fics out of it.
