I'm not sure what kind of ending you mean.  "Happily ever after" 
worded differently, or they don't live happily ever after?  I have 
The Classic Fairy Tales - Norton Critical Edition from an English 
class I took.  Any particular fairy tale?  These aren't necessarily 
the toned-down versions we heard as children, but here are a few last 
lines from the book:
