Though in my opinion . . .
even if you have a problem with someone who ISN'T a
mod, has a reputation on the list, anything in this line should be done offlist.
Doing to a mod is just upping an already intolerable offense.

I for one have seen it onlist before and was not
offended. Pat Kelly
portrays the pairing brilliantly and it is
neither disgusting nor
offensive. He makes plausable situations for
this pairing to be
believable. This, however is my opinion. The way
it's written and
the history that Pat makes up, by the end of the fic
they're not even
sisters anymore. But hey, you wouldn't know
that because YOU
HAVEN'T EVEN READ IT!
I am MAJORLY offended
that you would speak to Kimber, or any other
MOD for that fact, this
way. This email is rude and offensive and
the last person who should
ever be dressed down on list is a
moderator. . .let alone Kimber who has
in the past, kept this group
going when it seemed like no one was
interested anymore, has been a
key figure since the first months of the
group back in 1999, has
written fiction that no one even to this day is
worthy of holding a
candle to. Based on reputation alone, Kimber
SHOULD NOT be spoken to
this way. If it seems like I'm blowing this
out of proportion, well,
I probably am. Only because it's so
offensive the way people think
they can talk to people. In society
all the way down the line, we
take our elders for granted, scold them like
children and don't
respect the roads they paved so that we could have a
smooth path to
walk without getting pebbles in our shoes.
IMHO, not
only do you speak down to Kimber as if you were superior,
as if that
wasn't enought, you refer to message numbers just to drive
your point
home. What is your point HD? Trying to prove to the list
that
you know the list rules better than the person who put them in
place? Last time I looked, the list isn't congress, you're not the
speaker of the house for all the members and Kimber isn't the
errant
'president' who needs to be impeached and taught a lesson.
If you or
anyone else has a problem with something, why don't you
address it
privately? Anything else, IMHO, is going to be taken as
arrogance. Last time I looked the grand standing, arrogance, back
handed compliments, nitpicking and 'I better and more superior than
you' position was filled . . . . .then retired from. . . . .then
filled again (this time with 40% more superiority in every
email!)
Show some respect. The mods have earned it.
Especially Kimber.
