Well, if they had no plans to go beyond Season 5 (Despite having the 
main cast contracted for a couple of years beyond it), then why 
would they already have that subplot planned when they were STARTING 
Season 5?  You're the one who said they had no intentions of going 
beyond that season when they started it.
